## Description

For fastening or removing bolts in tight work areas, a cordless ratchet can make powered access easier to manage. The AOBEN 5808 pairs a 3/8-inch drive with a 12V motor and a variable-speed trigger. Need control while working around nearby parts? The trigger lets you adjust the tool’s speed as you work.

## Why it’s worth it

This ratchet delivers up to 40 ft-lb of torque and a stated speed of 280 rpm, giving you powered operation for bolt and nut work. The variable-speed trigger helps you manage the pace, while the front LED illuminates the work area. Side lights indicate the remaining battery power, so you can check the charge status as you go. A reverse switch at the back of the head is designed to help prevent accidental activation, and the motor’s air-cooling design supports heat dissipation during use.

The set includes two 2000mAh lithium-ion batteries and a charger, so you can keep a charged battery available while the other is in use. It also comes with sockets, a 1/4-inch adapter, a 3-inch extension bar, and a carrying case for keeping the tool and accessories together. Fully charge a battery before using it for the first time.

Buyer feedback often points to the tool’s usefulness in tight spots, along with the convenience of having two batteries. Comments on torque and durability are mixed, so the stated 40 ft-lb rating is the clearest guide when matching the tool to your fastening task.

## Quick overview

The AOBEN 5808 Ratchet is a cordless electric ratchet wrench with a 3/8-inch drive, a 12V motor, variable-speed control, and a polished metal finish. Its 12-inch length gives you a defined form factor for positioning the head around bolts and nuts. The included 1/4-inch adapter and 3-inch extension bar add options for connecting compatible accessories, while the case helps keep the set organized between jobs.

## Who it’s for

This set suits people handling recurring bolt or nut work who want powered ratcheting in a cordless format. It can be useful for assembly, repairs, and maintenance tasks where access around the fastener matters. If you’re choosing between a manual ratchet and a powered tool, the AOBEN’s electric operation and variable-speed trigger offer a different approach to turning fasteners, the included sockets and extension also give you practical accessories to start with.

## Is it worth it?

The AOBEN 5808 is a practical fit for buyers looking for a 3/8-inch cordless ratchet kit with two batteries, a charger, and useful accessories in one set. Its LED work light, battery-status indicators, and variable-speed trigger support a more controlled setup around fasteners, while the 40 ft-lb torque rating helps you judge whether it matches the job. For bolt work in confined areas or repeated fastening tasks, this combination of powered operation and included accessories makes the set a useful alternative to relying on a manual ratchet alone.
