ANIDEER MYG-84-1 Shepherd’s Hook, 7-Prong Base, Adjustable Height

A hanging spot in the garden can serve one purpose, or adapt to several as your outdoor setup changes. The ANIDEER MYG-84-1 shepherd’s hook gives you an adjustable-height pole and a curved hook for feeders, plants, lights, and other outdoor decorations.

Its seven-prong base is designed to anchor in soft ground, while the black powder-coated metal finish suits a range of garden and patio settings.

Need to change the height for a different display? Assemble the pole at one of three heights to suit the space and the item you want to hang.

Best use cases

Use the hook to suspend a hummingbird feeder or bird feeder where it can be viewed from a yard or patio. It also works for plant baskets, solar lights, lanterns, wind chimes, and garden flags, giving you one freestanding hanging point for different outdoor arrangements. For an event, it can hold a lantern or decorative accent as part of a garden or wedding setup.

The pole adjusts to 52, 68, or 84 inches by adding or removing sections. That makes it easier to choose a lower position for a compact display or use the full height when a taller hanging point suits the setting. The seven-prong base is intended for soft ground, press it into the ground to position the hook upright.

What you’ll notice day to day

The metal pole has a black powder-coated finish, and its curved hook keeps a hanging item above the base rather than resting it on the ground. With one hook, the design is straightforward: choose what to hang, set the pole height, and place it where the display fits your outdoor space.

Assembly uses the hook, base, and three pole sections. Align the sections and twist them together, then adjust the height by adding or removing pole sections. When you want to store it, the pole can be disassembled. The product is listed with a maximum weight recommendation of 17 pounds, which gives you a practical reference when selecting a feeder or decoration.

Buyers’ views on sturdiness and length vary, so consider the adjustable height and stated weight recommendation when choosing where and how to use it. The different height settings also make this a flexible alternative to a fixed-height hanging stake when you want to change the display over time.
