## Description

A floor-level bed and a window perch serve different cat routines: one offers a place to settle, while the other puts a resting spot beside the view. The AMOSIJOY wooden windowsill perch combines a cushioned bed with a hook-on frame. Its adjustable mounting helps it fit a windowsill, and the open perch gives cats a place to relax while watching outside.

## Tech specs
- Type: Cat windowsill perch with cushion bed
- Size: 24.4 x 15 inches
- Frame: Wood and metal
- Capacity: Holds up to 40 lb
- Color: Gray
- Care: Hand wash only
- Assembly: Required, instructions are included

The wood-and-metal frame supports the bed without relying on suction cups. Two metal hooks rest over the sill, while wooden supports help hold the perch in position. The hooks are widened to spread contact across more of the windowsill, and the distance between the hooks and supports can be adjusted with thumb screws to accommodate sill thickness. This hook-on setup avoids drilling into the wall, making it a practical choice for creating a cat’s resting place at the window.

## Tips for day-to-day use
Assemble the perch by following the included instructions, then adjust the hooks and supports to suit the windowsill before your cat uses it. The 24.4 x 15-inch bed gives cats room to settle in, and the cushioned cover adds a soft resting surface for lounging. Because the frame is designed to hook onto a sill, it keeps the bed close to the window for sunbathing and outdoor viewing.

The cushion cover is removable for washing, follow the stated hand-wash care instructions. Buyers often praise the soft padding and straightforward assembly, with some noting that the wood-and-metal construction feels sturdy. Their feedback offers useful perspective on everyday setup and comfort, while the stated 40 lb capacity is the product’s listed weight limit.

## Best use cases
This perch is designed for cats that like to rest near a window and watch the activity outside. It can also be placed beside a bed so a cat has a nearby lounging spot, or on a suitable drawer or cabinet. Compared with a floor bed, a windowsill perch makes use of an elevated resting area and keeps the cat’s spot near the view. It suits you if you want a cushioned cat bed that hooks onto a sill rather than one that needs to be drilled into a wall.

## Practical questions
How does the perch attach to a windowsill? Two metal hooks sit over the sill, with wooden supports underneath. Adjust the distance between the hooks and supports using the thumb screws to fit the sill thickness.

What size is the bed? The perch measures 24.4 x 15 inches, with a listed capacity of up to 40 lb.

Where can it be used? It is designed for windowsills and can also be placed beside a bed or on a suitable drawer or cabinet.

## Is it worth it?
For a cat that enjoys a soft place to rest near a window, this perch combines a removable cushioned bed with a wood-and-metal hook-on frame. Its adjustable fit, no-drill mounting style, and 40 lb capacity make it a useful way to give a cat a dedicated lounging spot at the sill, with other placement options around the home.
