Ameritex Waterproof Dog Bed Cover, 82 x 102-Inch Quilted Microfiber Blanket
Product description
A quilted microfiber surface and waterproof inner layer help shield furniture from pet-related moisture while creating a soft place for pets to settle. The 82 x 102-inch cover is made for sofas and beds. Choose it when you want broad furniture coverage rather than a small throw for one spot.

- Construction: Five-layer fabric with an internal TPU waterproof coating

Its blanket-style design gives it a familiar quilted look, so it can serve as a protective layer on the furniture pets already use. The waterproof construction is intended to help keep liquids from reaching the surface underneath. Buyers appreciate its appearance and protection from pet hair, muddy paws, and accidents, while feedback is mixed on waterproof performance, durability, and how securely it stays in place. The anti-slip backing is designed to help limit shifting, but reports on grip vary.
Everyday compatibility
Use the cover on a sofa or bed to create a shared resting spot for pets and people while helping protect the furniture beneath. Its broad size is useful when a pet stretches out across more than one cushion or when you want to cover a larger area of a bed. The quilted blanket form also suits homes where a furniture protector should look like a regular part of the room rather than a small mat set in one place.
For a quick example, spread it over the sofa where your dog likes to nap, then wash it as needed after muddy paws or everyday pet messes. If your priority is a single compact pet spot, a smaller cover serves a different purpose, this size is suited to wider coverage across a bed or sofa.
Usage tips
Lay the cover flat over the area you want to protect, with the anti-slip backing against the furniture. Arrange the fabric to cover the pet’s usual resting area and smooth out the quilt before use. For care, follow the listed machine-wash directions: use cold water and tumble dry on low. Buyers describe varied experiences with both the cover’s grip and its durability in use and washing, so gentle handling and the recommended care cycle are practical choices.
Practical questions
What furniture can this cover be used on? It is intended for furniture such as sofas and beds, making it suitable for creating a pet-friendly layer on either surface.
What helps protect the furniture from moisture? The cover has a five-layer construction and an internal TPU coating described as waterproof. Buyer feedback on water resistance is mixed, so it is best viewed as a protective furniture layer rather than a guarantee against every spill.
How should I wash it? Machine wash in cold water and tumble dry on low, following the product’s care instructions.
When it makes sense
Choose this Ameritex cover when you want a large, quilted layer for a sofa or bed that combines a soft microfiber feel with a waterproof inner coating and straightforward machine care. Its 82 x 102-inch format is the key advantage for covering a broader resting area, while the anti-slip backing is intended to help keep the blanket in place as pets settle in.
