## Description

For Fire TV viewers who want easier control in dim rooms and a way to locate a misplaced remote, the [amazon](https://www.amazon.com/-/dp/B09RX4HKTD?tag=globalofertit-20) Alexa Voice Remote Pro brings those tasks together in one handheld controller.

Its motion-activated backlight illuminates the buttons when you pick it up, making nighttime navigation easier to see. Two customizable buttons let you create shortcuts to favorite apps, channels, or Alexa commands.

The remote also combines TV power and volume controls with voice access to shows, apps, and compatible smart home devices. Its remote finder can ring the remote when prompted from an Alexa device or the Alexa, Fire TV, or Alexa app.

## Spec sheet
- Name: Alexa Voice Remote Pro
- Type: Fire TV voice remote
- Controls: TV power, volume, live TV channels, and Fire TV navigation
- Backlighting: Motion-activated illuminated buttons
- Custom buttons: Two buttons for shortcuts to apps, channels, or Alexa commands
- Remote finder: Triggers a ring through a compatible Alexa device or the Alexa, Fire TV, or Alexa app
- Headphone shortcut: Opens the on-screen Bluetooth menu for pairing wireless headphones
- Compatibility: Most Fire TV streaming media players, Amazon Fire TV smart TVs, and smart TVs with Fire TV built in

## Practical tips
Use the remote finder when the controller is out of sight: ask Alexa to find it, or use the Alexa app or Fire TV app to make it ring. In a dim room, the motion-activated backlight helps you identify buttons as you navigate. Set the two customizable buttons to the apps, channels, or Alexa commands you use most, and use the dedicated headphone button to open the Bluetooth pairing menu.

For voice control, press the Alexa button and ask to find a show, open an app, adjust the volume, or control a compatible smart home device. The integrated TV controls let you manage power and volume from the same remote, while dedicated channel buttons provide access to live TV navigation.

Compatibility matters when choosing a replacement: this remote works with most Fire TV players and Fire TV televisions, but not Fire TV (1st and 2nd Gen), Fire TV Stick (1st Gen), Element Fire TV Edition, Insignia HD or Insignia FHD, Hisense U6HF 4K ULED Fire TV Series, or Echo Show 15. Buyers often praise the backlighting and programmable shortcuts, feedback on the finder and compatibility is mixed, and some report replacing batteries sooner than expected.

## Usage tips
Compared with a simpler remote focused on basic navigation, this model adds a finder, illuminated buttons, programmable shortcuts, and a headphone-menu shortcut. Those additions are especially useful when a remote is often misplaced, when you watch in a darkened room, or when you want favorite apps within easy reach. Pairing wireless headphones is more direct with the dedicated button, which opens the on-screen Bluetooth menu.

## Final verdict
Choose the Alexa Voice Remote Pro if your Fire TV setup would benefit from easier-to-see controls, shortcuts you can tailor to your routine, and a remote finder. It brings voice commands, TV controls, and Fire TV navigation into one controller, making it a practical upgrade for everyday viewing in a compatible setup.
