## Description

## Why it’s worth it

For a bedroom movie night or a casual backyard screening, the Alwtniet HY300Pro is designed to bring a large image to a small setup. Its portable form, built-in Android 14, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth let you stream or connect devices without making a separate streaming stick the centerpiece of the setup. The 180-degree swivel lens and automatic vertical keystone correction also give you more flexibility when placing it on a table, tripod, or ceiling mount.

The key distinction is resolution: it supports 4K input, but its native resolution is 1280 x 720. That makes it a different proposition from a native-4K projector. For casual viewing, the advertised image range of 35 to 135 inches and throw distance of 0.75 to 2.65 meters offer options for a bedroom or small living room. The stated brightness is 200 ANSI lumens, so the intended use is better understood as a home or nighttime setup than as a substitute for a bright-room display.

## Quick overview

The HY300Pro includes an LCD display, a built-in speaker, manual focus, auto vertical keystone correction, HDMI and USB connections, plus Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The product listing specifies Android 14 and support for 4K content, neither changes the native 720p resolution. It weighs 12.32 ounces and measures 3.7 x 6.2 x 3.7 inches, making it practical to move between rooms. A remote, adapter, power cord, and user manual are listed as included.

Buyer feedback is positive about picture quality, setup, connectivity, and the compact design, with some people finding it useful for movie nights, streaming, and presentations. Sound opinions are mixed. The built-in speaker may be enough for a simple watch, but buyers do not describe its performance consistently, so audio expectations deserve attention if sound matters as much as the image.

A solid pick if you want a movable projector for casual viewing and value built-in smart features over native 4K resolution. Better avoided if native 4K or dependable built-in audio is central to your decision.

## How to use it

Place the projector on a stable surface or compatible mount, point the lens toward the screen, and adjust the manual focus. Automatic vertical keystone correction can help square the image, though the manufacturer’s instructions say to align the lens directly with the screen and switch off auto keystone for manual adjustment when needed. Its stated throw range is 0.75 to 2.65 meters, the listing suggests 1.6 meters for an image of 80 inches or larger.

You can use HDMI or USB connections, or connect over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. There is an important streaming caveat: the manufacturer says screen mirroring may show no image or sound for some protected apps, including [amazon](https://www.amazon.com/-/dp/B0G48SGLRZ?tag=globalofertit-20) Prime Video and Hulu, due to HDCP. If you plan to watch those services, account for that restriction rather than assuming phone mirroring will work for every app.

## Should you buy it?

Choose the HY300Pro if portability, flexible placement, and a casual big-screen setup matter more than sharpness beyond native 720p. Its short-throw range can suit a small room, while Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI, and USB provide several ways to connect. If you need a display for a bright space, native 4K, or consistently strong onboard sound, compare those requirements against the specifications and mixed sound feedback before deciding.
