## Description

For trimming lawn edges and clearing weeds around a yard without dragging an extension cord, the ALSO GO HG0077-RE(new4) combines a cordless trimmer with edging and brush-cutting functions. It comes with two batteries and a charger. A support wheel and an adjustable head add flexibility for different areas. That makes it a different kind of tool from a basic string trimmer, though it is not presented as a substitute for heavy-duty cutting equipment.

## What to know

This 21V battery-powered tool is described as a 3-in-1 weed eater, brush cutter, and edger. Its listed cutting width is 6 inches, and the listed speed is 11,000 rpm. The included blade options cover different yard tasks: plastic blades are intended for soft lawn growth, while stainless steel straight blades are described for stubborn weeds and small shrubs. The product details mention three blade types, but describe these two in particular.

Two 2.0 Ah batteries and a charger are included, so the package is set up for cordless use without a separate battery purchase. The listing does not provide a runtime figure, however, which makes it difficult to gauge how much continuous trimming to expect from a charge. A dual-switch startup requires pressing the safety lock and trigger together, a useful detail for households where accidental starts are a concern.

## On-body feel

The product is presented as lightweight and ergonomically designed, with a support wheel to help guide it while trimming. The wheel may be especially useful when working along a lawn edge or moving over a stretch of grass, rather than holding the cutting end unsupported throughout the task. Its head can be adjusted from 0 to 90 degrees, which can help position the cutting area for slopes or awkward gaps.

Those features point toward maneuverability and lighter yard maintenance rather than sustained, demanding brush clearing. The listing gives conflicting weight figures, so it is better not to rely on a specific weight when judging how it will feel to carry or use. If handling weight is a deciding factor, the actual product weight is worth confirming before purchase.

## Practical tips

Choose the blade for the growth you are cutting: the included plastic blades are described for softer lawn growth, while the straight steel blades are intended for tougher weeds and small shrubs. The adjustable head can be positioned for edging or for reaching sloped areas, and the wheel can help guide the tool along a more consistent path. Use the dual-switch controls as directed before starting, and keep the work focused on grass, weeds, and light vegetation.

The manufacturer’s description says that very thick or heavy-duty branches are better handled by a dedicated chainsaw or pole saw. That is a meaningful boundary if your yard work involves substantial woody growth. The available details also do not establish a battery runtime, so a larger job may require planning around charging or swapping batteries.

## When it makes sense

It makes sense if you want one cordless tool for routine lawn trimming, edging, and lighter weed clearing, and value the included batteries, adjustable head, and wheel-guided design. Compared with a simpler trimmer, its stated multi-role setup offers more blade and positioning options, compared with dedicated heavy-duty cutting equipment, its described use is more limited. It’s not for you if your main task is cutting thick branches or handling demanding brush, where the manufacturer points to more specialized tools.
