## Description

For drivers who need to replenish a deionized-water filter used in a spotless car-wash setup, this AKM mixed-bed resin refill provides 10 liters of replacement media in two 5-liter bags.

The resin removes ions from water to produce pure water for car washing, glass, windows, and other cleaning tasks where pure water is useful.

Its refill format is designed for replacing exhausted resin in a filter system, so you can refresh the media in an existing setup instead of buying a complete system.

## The essentials

This pack contains two vacuum-sealed 5-liter bags, adding up to 10 liters of mixed-bed deionized resin. The individually sealed bags are designed to help extend shelf life, while the split format lets you handle the refill in manageable portions. A disposable paper funnel is included to help guide resin into the filter during replacement.

The resin is intended for AKM Spotless Water Systems and is also described as suitable for various brands and models of deionized-water systems. Used in a car-wash setup, it helps produce pure water for the wash process. That same water can also be used for glass and window cleaning, making the refill relevant beyond vehicle care.

## Who it’s for

This refill is suited to car owners who already use a deionized-water system and need replacement resin, as well as people who use pure water for cleaning glass or windows. It is a practical way to replenish the filter media rather than replace the whole system when the main need is a resin change.

What makes the two-bag format useful? You can work with one 5-liter bag at a time and keep the other vacuum-sealed for a later refill, based on your system’s needs. The product is intended for filter changes, so follow the replacement procedure for your deionized-water system when loading the resin.

## Getting the most from it

Use the resin as replacement media in a compatible deionized-water filter. Pour it carefully into the filter, using the included disposable paper funnel to direct the fill. The two 5-liter bags make it easier to manage the 10-liter pack during a refill, and the vacuum-sealed packaging helps protect the unused bag during storage.

For car washing, the resulting pure water is intended for use in a spotless-wash system. It can also serve cleaning tasks involving windows and glass, where pure water is useful. Buyers praise the resin’s effectiveness, with some reporting streak-free results on their cars. Feedback on durability is mixed: some buyers say the resin did not last as long as they expected. These are individual experiences, and the amount of use will depend on the system and its water conditions.

## When it makes sense

Choose this refill when your existing deionized-water setup needs fresh resin for car washing or other cleaning with pure water. The 10-liter quantity, divided into two 5-liter bags, provides a replacement-media option for a filter change, while the vacuum-sealed packaging and included funnel support storage and handling. For maintaining a deionized-water system already used for vehicle or glass cleaning, it keeps the focus on replenishing the filter media rather than purchasing a complete system.
