## Description

At 1.7" long and 0.9" wide, the AINOPE AV801 is a compact car charger designed to sit close to the edge of a cigarette lighter socket. Its low-profile shape keeps the adapter from taking up much visual space in the cabin.

The zinc-alloy metal body gives the charger a sleek, understated look. With two USB-A ports, it can charge a phone and a tablet at the same time from a 12V vehicle outlet.

A combined 4.8A output and 24W rating make it a practical choice for everyday USB charging on the road. Each port is rated at up to 2.4A, Qualcomm Quick Charge is not supported.

## Getting the most from it

Plug the AV801 into a 12V cigarette lighter outlet and connect your devices with their USB charging cables. The two ports are useful when a passenger also needs power, or when you want to charge a phone and tablet during the same drive. Each port can provide up to 2.4A, with 4.8A total output across both ports.

Looking for a way to charge two devices without a larger adapter sticking out from the dashboard? The compact, flush-fit design keeps the setup neat while leaving both USB-A ports accessible. The charger is intended for standard USB charging, rather than Qualcomm Quick Charge.

## Where it shines

The low-profile format suits daily commutes and longer drives where a bulky adapter can get in the way. Its metal body and streamlined shape also make it a tidy fit in a car interior. Compared with a single-port charger, the AV801 lets two USB devices draw power at once, making it useful when a driver and passenger both want to charge their phones.

Customer feedback often highlights the compact appearance and charging performance. Fit opinions are mixed: some buyers say the charger sits nearly flush, while others report that it does not sit flush or can come out of the socket. Vehicle outlets can differ, so how it sits depends on the socket.

## What to know

This adapter is designed for a 12V car outlet and has two USB-A charging ports. Its 4.8A total output is shared across the ports, with up to 2.4A per port. It does not support Qualcomm Quick Charge, so use it for standard USB charging. Built-in safeguards are described as protecting connected devices from overcurrent, overcharging, and overheating.

The compact format is especially useful when you want to keep a charger connected without a prominent adapter extending into the cabin. For a trip with two devices to power, connect each one to a USB-A port and keep both charging from the vehicle outlet.

## When it makes sense

It makes sense if you want a compact, metal-bodied car charger with two USB-A ports for routine phone and tablet charging. The AV801 combines a low-profile shape with up to 4.8A total output, giving drivers and passengers a simple way to power two devices from one 12V outlet.
