## Description

A five-outlet, three-sided format gives this black Addtam wall extender room for plugs alongside four USB charging ports, including two USB-C ports.

Its 1.7-inch spacing between outlets helps accommodate a mix of connected equipment without crowding the sockets. The mountable design includes a screw for securing it to a duplex outlet.

With 1800J surge protection and built-in overload, short-circuit, overcurrent, overvoltage, and overheating protection, it brings power and USB charging together at the wall.

- USB output: 4.5 A total, USB-A ports up to 2.4 A each and USB-C up to 3 A

Smart charging technology detects connected USB devices and adjusts charging output. The surge-protection system uses TVS, MOV, and GDT components, and an indicator light shows when surge protection is active. A fire-resistant casing and automatic power cutoff during an overwhelming voltage surge add practical protection for connected devices.

## What it works with
The five AC outlets are suited to compatible plug-in equipment, while the USB ports provide charging for most USB devices. The USB-C ports are intended for charging devices that do not require a 14–22V charging voltage. The 15 A rating and Type B plug identify the electrical connection for this extender.

For installation on a duplex outlet, use the included screw to secure the unit. The plastic prong at the back supports stability, when using a USB receptacle or GFCI outlet, the product instructions call for cutting off that prong before use. This setup detail helps the extender fit the specified outlet types.

## Best use cases
In a home office, the spaced outlets can serve a group of nearby AC devices while the USB ports charge phones and other USB electronics from the same wall location. In a dorm room, the three-sided layout offers a compact way to connect several plugs and keep USB charging close at hand. It also suits shared household areas where one wall outlet needs to support a combination of AC and USB-powered devices.

Compared with a simple outlet splitter, this model combines surge protection and USB charging in the same wall-mounted unit. That makes it a practical choice when the goal is to add several AC connections while also charging USB devices, rather than adding outlets alone.

## Should you buy it?
Choose the Addtam extender when you want five AC outlets, four USB charging ports, and 1800J surge protection in one wall-connected product. Its spaced, three-sided outlet arrangement and screw-secured mounting are useful for organizing a home office or dorm setup around a single outlet. The built-in protections and USB charging make it a functional fit for everyday electronics and mixed AC-and-USB charging needs.
