## Description

At 50 x 50 inches, this ACOMOPACK play mat is sized for floor play and fits 50 x 50-inch playpens. Its 1.3-inch slow-rebound memory foam adds a cushioned layer between little ones and hard flooring. The 100% coral velvet surface feels soft against the skin. Choose it for a defined, padded play area, or use a larger open-floor space when you want room to spread out.

## Quick overview
The thick foam supports tummy time, rolling, sitting practice, crawling, and everyday play. Its cushioning also helps minimize noise and protect the floor, while the non-slip bottom helps keep the mat from shifting during use. A 50 x 50-inch footprint makes it a practical match for a playpen of the same stated size, creating a consistent padded area for play and movement.

The light gray color offers a neutral look for a nursery or living room. Beyond playpen use, the mat can serve as a nursery rug, bedside floor covering, tent pad, or yoga mat. Buyers often praise its softness and cushioning for babies learning to sit, crawl, or walk. Feedback on size and color is mixed, so consider how the stated dimensions and light gray shade will work in your space.

## Care tips
For routine care, vacuum the surface or gently wipe away dust. Avoid machine washing to help preserve the mat. When first opened, it may show creases or appear slightly smaller than expected, allow 3–7 days for recovery, or use an iron to speed the process. Once it has settled, place it on a clean, flat floor with the non-slip side down.

## Getting the most from it
Use the mat as a dedicated spot for supervised tummy time, crawling, and play, or position it inside a matching 50 x 50-inch playpen. The cushioned surface gives little ones a more comfortable area to explore, while the non-slip backing helps limit movement as they roll and crawl. It can also define a soft floor zone in a nursery, living room, or tent when a rug-like surface is more useful than an open, unpadded floor.

The coral velvet is described as non-toxic, odorless, non-shedding, and gentle on skin. The product description also states that the mat passed ASTM, lead, and phthalate tests. Together, the soft surface and foam padding make it suited to regular floor activities, from playtime to quiet moments on the floor.

## When it makes sense
Worth considering if you want one padded surface for both a playpen and everyday floor use, rather than a small mat dedicated only to tummy time. Its stated 50 x 50-inch size is useful when setting up a matching playpen area, and the 1.3-inch foam adds cushioning for sitting, rolling, and crawling. The light gray finish suits a neutral room palette, while the non-slip bottom helps the mat stay in place during play. For families setting up a nursery or a defined floor-play zone, it brings together a soft coral velvet surface, substantial padding, and several practical uses in one mat.
