## Description

For a PS5 match where footsteps and teammate callouts matter, the Acer OHR641 connects through its included 2.4GHz USB dongle. The wireless link has 20 ms latency, keeping audio responsive during fast-moving gameplay.

If you also switch between gaming and everyday listening, Bluetooth adds a second wireless mode for compatible devices such as phones and tablets. Use the mode slider to move between supported wireless connections.

The headset weighs 282 g and has over-ear cushions, an adjustable headband, and a foldable design. Its flip-to-mute microphone makes it simple to mute or resume voice chat in wireless mode.

## Worth noting

The OHR641 uses 50 mm dynamic drivers for game audio, from environmental detail in story-driven adventures to the cues and callouts heard in online matches. Sound isolation helps keep the listening experience focused, while on-ear button controls provide convenient access during play.

Battery life is rated for up to 70 hours at 50% volume, so longer sessions can fit between charges. A full charge takes about three hours. The USB Type-C charging connection and detachable 3.5 mm cable give the headset different ways to connect or recharge depending on the task.

## How it fits

For PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, use the included 2.4GHz USB dongle for wireless audio, Bluetooth audio is not supported by those consoles. The headset also supports wireless 2.4GHz audio on PC and Mac through the dongle. Bluetooth can be used with compatible mobile devices, including phones and tablets.

Nintendo Switch supports wireless game audio, while microphone input is restricted by the console. On Xbox consoles, connect the headset to the controller with the included 3.5 mm cable for wired audio and microphone use. When connected by cable, the microphone stays active and flipping it up does not mute it. This makes the OHR641 useful for players who want one headset for wireless play across supported devices and a wired option for Xbox.

## Practical tips

Choose the 2.4GHz dongle for PlayStation gaming and other compatible devices when you want a dedicated low-latency connection. For phone or tablet listening, select Bluetooth instead. Keep the console’s connection method in mind: PlayStation wireless audio uses the dongle, while Xbox use requires the 3.5 mm cable.

During wireless voice chat, raise the boom mic to mute and lower it to resume talking. If you connect through the 3.5 mm cable, use the connected device’s controls or settings to manage the microphone, since the flip-to-mute function applies to wireless modes. The package includes a 2.4GHz dongle, detachable cable, Type-C charging cable, and user manual.

## When it makes sense

The Acer OHR641 suits players who want a single over-ear headset for gaming across supported platforms, with both low-latency dongle audio and Bluetooth for compatible everyday devices. Its foldable design and 282 g weight also make it practical to pack for travel or move between rooms. If your priority is a wireless PlayStation setup with quick microphone muting and a wired connection available for Xbox, the OHR641 brings those choices together in one headset.
