## Description

When choosing a controller for Switch 2, a secure console-mounted grip and a separate gamepad offer different ways to play. The abxylute N6 combines an open-top ergonomic design with native Switch 2 protocol support. Hall Effect joysticks and a dedicated C Button add useful controls for everyday play. Its fit is designed for a bare console, without a stand or case installed.

## The essentials
The N6 is a Switch 2 gamepad that the system recognizes as a Pro Controller. Native protocol support enables plug-and-play use without pairing or setup, while the dedicated C Button gives direct access to Switch 2 chat and communication features. For multiplayer sessions, that button keeps communication controls close at hand.

The open-top design leaves the console’s screen accessible while providing a more natural grip than a full-wrap controller design. Built-in silicone pads help protect the console from scratches and hold it securely, including during 360-degree rotation. The controller weighs 244 g, and its larger Hall Effect joysticks are designed for smooth, precise movement and drift-free performance. Conductive rubber ABXY buttons and D-pad, along with tactile shoulder buttons and conductive rubber triggers, provide familiar inputs. Native GL/GR back buttons support custom macros, and ABXY remapping lets players tailor the layout to different games or preferred control styles. The product also lists a 9-axis gyro and linear motors.

## Everyday use
For handheld play, attach the N6 directly to a bare Switch 2: a stand or case must be removed before the console can be inserted. The silicone padding helps keep the console in place during play, and the open-top layout makes this a practical choice when you want a fuller grip without covering the screen. Native Switch 2 support is the key compatibility point, this controller is not compatible with Switch 1 and does not have Bluetooth function.

## Getting the most from it
Set up the controls around the game you plan to play. Remap ABXY buttons when a different layout feels more natural, and assign supported macros to the GL/GR back buttons for additional control options. The gyro adds a motion-control feature, while the C Button provides a dedicated route to chat and communication features. For a multiplayer session, the combination of accessible communication controls and a secure handheld grip keeps the controller’s main functions close at hand.

Buyer feedback commonly highlights the comfortable grip, responsive-feeling buttons and joysticks, and quiet operation. Those impressions align with the N6’s focus on ergonomic handling and familiar controller-style inputs, while the remapping and back-button features give players more ways to tailor how they play.

## Should you buy it?
The abxylute N6 is suited to Switch 2 players who want a console-mounted controller with a substantial grip, native system support, and extra control options. It makes particular sense for handheld play, where the open-top design, silicone contact pads, Hall Effect sticks, remappable ABXY layout, and dedicated C Button all serve a practical purpose. If you want a replacement joypad that combines familiar inputs with customizable back buttons, the N6 brings those features together in one Switch 2-focused design.
