2PM SPORTS Inline Skates with Reinforced Aluminum Frame

Finding skates a growing child can keep using is tricky, especially when a fixed-size boot may soon feel too small. These 2PM SPORTS inline skates adjust across four sizes, pairing that flexibility with a reinforced aluminum frame and a three-part closure system.

The light-up wheels add a visible, playful touch, and their power is self-generated, so they do not need batteries. The set also includes two non-woven bags.

Where it shines

The adjustable boot is the standout for families who want room for a child’s feet to grow rather than replacing skates as soon. The product is offered in Small, Medium, Large, and X-Large, with sizing categories described for little kids, big kids, young adults, and adults. Since the exact boot length is shown in the size chart, choosing a size means matching that chart to the intended wearer—not relying on the age label alone.

For a beginner, the triple closure combines cam lever buckles, a 45-degree strap, and laces. That gives the wearer several points of adjustment when getting ready for a practice session. Picture a child sitting down, tightening the laces, fastening the strap, then securing the buckles before heading out, the design is intended to make entry and fastening manageable without help.

The wheels are 82A polyurethane, and the skates use ABEC-7 bearings. The illuminated effect comes from a self-powered system, so there is no battery to charge or replace. It’s a great fit if you want adjustable sizing, a beginner-friendly closure, and lights in one pair. If you prioritize a simple, fixed-size skate without decorative lighting, a more basic design may suit your preferences better.

What to know

The frame is reinforced aluminum, and the product description also highlights lateral support. Those features are relevant to shoppers looking for a more supportive setup than a bare-bones recreational skate, though the listing does not provide a fit test, performance comparison, or detailed support rating. Treat the ABEC-7 bearing and 82A wheel details as specifications, not a guarantee of how the skates will feel for a particular rider.

Sizing deserves attention: adjustability does not remove the need to select the right starting size. Check the boot-length chart before choosing, especially if the skates are for a growing child or an adult. The description gives no braking, protective-gear, or surface guidance, so those details should not be assumed from the feature list. It may not suit you if you need a confirmed fit without consulting the chart or want more detailed performance information. Two non-woven bags are included, but their dimensions and intended storage capacity are not specified.

Best use cases

These are aimed at recreational riders across kid, youth, and adult size categories, particularly beginners who value a closure system they can adjust before skating. They make most sense for someone who wants growing room, light-up wheels, and an aluminum frame rather than the fewest possible features. For a first outing, take time to set all three closures before rolling, a snug, even fit matters more than simply fastening them quickly. On the spec sheet, the combination is feature-rich, but the available details do not establish how it compares with skates designed for advanced or specialized use.

Final verdict

Choose these if adjustable sizing is a priority and the listed size chart matches the wearer’s boot length. The lights, battery-free wheel system, triple closure, and two included bags add useful everyday details. The main trade-off is that buyers need to rely on the size chart, while the listing leaves fit guidance and performance limits fairly broad. If you want a straightforward recreational pair for a beginner or growing rider, the feature mix is appealing, if you need a precise fit recommendation or a skate specified for advanced use, the product details here may not answer enough.
