Product description
Key features
This flexible silicone shower seal strip creates a modest water barrier for wet rooms and bathroom floors, combining a slim profile with simple stick-on installation. The strip is made from food grade silicone which is resistant to corrosion, heat and wear, and it arrives with two self-adhesive tapes on the rear for firmer adhesion. It is intended to stop minor flow along shower edges and door thresholds, helping to keep wet and dry areas separate during everyday use.

Why it makes sense
The product suits straightforward sealing tasks where a low-profile barrier is preferable. It is bendable so you can shape it around mild curves and cut neat mitred joints at corners for a stronger bond. Keep in mind that the 12mm height is limited, so it will not contain large volumes of water or replace a purpose-built, barrier-free shower threshold.
How to use it
Start with a completely clean and dry surface, then press the strip into place. If ambient temperature is below 20°C use a hairdryer to warm the adhesive backing for better stickiness. For long term performance the manufacturer recommends sealing the edges with silicone adhesive after fitting, note that silicone glue is not supplied in the pack. You’ll see the best results on smooth tiles, shower trays or kitchen countertops, and at bottoms of bathroom doors where small splashes are the main concern.
Care & maintenance
Wipe the strip periodically with a mild detergent and soft cloth to avoid soap buildup and grime. Inspect joins after heavy use and reapply silicone sealant as needed to preserve the barrier function. If the adhesive fails over time, replacement of the 2m strip is straightforward and inexpensive.
