Zacro ceramic disc brake pads 4 pairs
Product description
If you want reliable stopping power for regular rides, these ceramic bicycle disc brake pads are a practical replacement choice. The Zacro 4 pairs brake pad set is built for compatibility across a wide range of Shimano, Tektro and TRP disc brake models, so you can restore consistent braking without overcomplicating maintenance 🚴. With ceramic materials, you also get a setup aimed at stronger initial bite and calmer performance compared with resin pads, according to the manufacturer.
The essentials
These Zacro bike brake pads are designed as a direct replacement for compatible disc brake calipers used on mountain bikes, MTB setups, and e-bikes. Ceramic brake pads are typically chosen by riders who value strong initial bite and steady braking feel, especially during everyday commuting or frequent off road use. The manufacturer also highlights wear resistance and reduced noise as part of the intended day to day benefit, which matters when your brakes need to stay predictable over time.
The set comes as four pairs, which gives you enough to cover front and rear for multiple bikes or to have spares ready. That can be useful if you ride in mixed conditions, or if you simply prefer to replace pads in one planned job rather than chasing parts later. You also get a reminder that brake pads are not one size fits all, so checking the original pad shape and size before ordering is part of buying with confidence 🛠️.
Key features
A key selling point here is the ceramic material focus. Zacro states the pads are made from premium ceramic and are intended to provide maximum initial bite for stronger braking performance, along with wear resistance and less noise than resin bicycle brake pads. Ceramic formulations are often associated with consistent behaviour across a range of conditions, and these pads are positioned as a ceramic option for disc brake calipers.
The compatibility guidance is broad, listing many Shimano Deore and related models, plus a range of Tektro and TRP setups. This helps when you are matching parts across a household of bikes, or when you are maintaining an MTB and an e bike with shared components. Still, keep expectations grounded by the fit guidance, because the listed models are described as included but not exhaustive, so confirming the shape and size of your existing pads is important.
Temperature resistance is another highlighted attribute. Zacro notes resistance to high temperatures up to 700 degrees, which can be relevant when braking repeatedly down slopes or when riding hard in hot weather 🌧️. The manufacturer also mentions design support for both dryness and moisture, aiming to keep braking effective in harsh road or weather conditions.

Getting the most from it
Installation is straightforward, but it helps to follow the sequence carefully so you do not disturb the caliper. The manufacturer advises removing the front and rear wheels before installing. You should remove the used brake pads from the front and rear calipers, then inspect the pistons and do an overall caliper condition check first.
Before fitting new pads, check the quality of the brake cable or hydraulic hose, depending on your braking system. Use a flat tool to push back the pistons in preparation for installing the new disc brake pads. If your bike brakes make a sharp or unusual sound after installation, Zacro recommends checking the brake pads condition and replacing them if needed.
It’s also worth remembering the fit warning around model coverage. The listed bike model list includes many common options, but it is described as including but not limited, so verifying by pad shape and size gives you the safest match.
Key takeaways
It’s a good fit if you are looking for a ceramic disc brake pad replacement for compatible Shimano Deore and listed Tektro or TRP calipers, and you want a braking setup aimed at strong initial bite and reduced noise. It makes sense if you regularly ride MTB or e bike routes where braking performance in wet and dry conditions is important, and you value wear resistance for longer service intervals. It may not suit you if your original pads do not match the shape and size of the replacement, even if the bike model appears on a compatibility list.
