## Description

This compact external battery gives your Meta Quest headset noticeably longer sessions by adding between two and four hours of playtime, according to the manufacturer. Designed as a portable charger to attach or carry with your headset, it keeps handheld cables tidy and reduces interruptions during longer gaming or professional VR use.

## Key Points

The pack focuses on extending runtime while keeping weight to a minimum, which helps maintain comfort during extended sessions. It includes a smart charging chip that prioritises the headset first and then tops up the battery pack, simplifying the charging routine. For users who run multiplayer sessions or time-limited demonstrations, the extra autonomy can be particularly useful 🎮.

Safety features are documented in the product literature, including temperature control and protections against over-charge, over-discharge, short circuit and overheating. The unit is also presented as compatible with other USB-C devices, so it can double as a general-purpose portable charger when not used with the headset. Note that manufacturer claims on retained headset power after extended use are comparative to lower wattage alternatives and may vary with actual usage.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **YUANHOT Battery Pack for Meta Quest 3S/3/2**
- Capacity: 20000 mWh
- Output: 18W PD fast charging
- Weight: 120 g (0.26 lbs.)
- Certifications: UL 2056, CE, RoHS, FCC

## Usage Recommendations

Attach the battery pack to the headset strap or keep it in a pocket of a VR belt for balanced weight distribution. For the fastest recharge to headset and pack, use a compatible 18W PD charger and the supplied USB-C cable if available. When planning events or longer play sessions, charge both the headset and the pack beforehand to make use of the simultaneous charging feature and avoid mid-session pauses ⚡.

Consider that actual added game time will depend on headset settings, the applications being run and environmental factors. The pack is relatively lightweight, but prolonged external weight can still affect fit for some users, so try a short session first to confirm comfort. The unit is presented as suitable for other USB-C devices, which makes it a flexible accessory beyond VR use.
