## Description

This lightweight external battery keeps Meta Quest headsets running for longer play sessions, adding an estimated two to four hours of extra runtime according to the manufacturer. A two-pack solution lets you have one battery attached while the other charges, so you can swap quickly and extend immersion during gaming or films.

## Key Points

The two-unit set is designed specifically as an accessory for Meta Quest 3S, 3 and 2 headsets, providing portable power without adding noticeable bulk to the headset. With a capacity of 20000 mWh, it aims to stretch a session by several hours while remaining compact and easy to carry. 🔋

Fast recharging of the headset is supported by the battery pack’s output, which is rated at 18W and helps maintain headset charge more steadily than lower-output banks. The units include dual USB-C cables for plug and play connection, and the built-in smart chip prioritises the headset before replenishing the battery pack.

Safety certifications reported by the manufacturer include UL2056, CE, FCC and RoHS, and the internal protection circuitry covers overcharge, overdischarge, short circuit and high temperature. Consider that extended use with a heavy accessories load may still alter comfort during long sessions, even though each unit weighs around 120 g. 🕶️

## Benefits

Having two identical power packs removes downtime between sessions because one can charge while the other powers the headset. The pack’s design targets a balance between capacity and weight, so extra runtime comes with minimal extra burden on the headstrap. Fast charging support reduces waiting time, and the smart charging logic simplifies simultaneous charging of headset and pack.

The certifications and integrated IC help reduce the risk of overheating and electrical faults during extended use. However, battery longevity depends on usage patterns and charging habits, and the actual additional playtime can vary depending on headset settings and content intensity.

For prolonged VR marathons, monitor temperature during charging and gameplay, and allow packs to cool if they become notably warm according to the manufacturer.
