## Description

## At a glance
The YPBDAN gaming headset pairs 50mm drivers with virtual 7.1 surround sound to deliver positional audio for multiplayer and FPS titles, while RGB lighting lets you tune the look of your setup. It is a wired over-ear model that works with PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Switch, Mac and mobile devices thanks to its 3.5mm jack and included Y-splitter, and the separate USB lead powers the RGB lighting only.

## Why it’s worth it
Comfort is a clear focus here, with memory foam ear pads and a self-adjusting suspension headband that reduce pressure during long sessions. The closed-back cups provide passive noise isolation which helps immersion without relying on active cancellation. According to the product details, the microphone is omnidirectional and uses noise cancellation to cut background noise, and its 120° flexible bend plus one-touch mute on the cable keep your desk tidy when you need to mute quickly.

## How to use it
Plug the 3.5mm jack into your controller, handheld or PC headphone socket and attach the USB lead only if you want RGB lighting. Use the in-line controller to adjust volume and mute the mic, or connect the Y-splitter for separate microphone and headphone ports on a desktop. If you prioritise a quieter room tone over full RGB effects, simply leave the USB unplugged to save power.

## What you’ll notice day to day
You’ll appreciate strong bass and clear highs from the 50mm drivers during intense scenes, and the virtual 7.1 support for Windows Sonic and Dolby Atmos helps with directional cues in shooters. Do note that the headset is wired so cable management matters, and detailed fit will depend on head size though the suspension band is forgiving. Overall it’s a practical, budget-conscious choice for cross-platform gaming and long sessions.
