## Description

This compact portable DVD player from YOTON combines a swivel HD screen with battery power to bring films to the car, garden or a child’s bedroom. The 10.5 inch 1024 x 600 display and 180°/270° rotation let passengers pick a comfortable viewing angle, while the anti-skip mechanism helps keep playback steady on bumpy roads.

## Key Points

The unit is lightweight at around 1 kg and designed for both in-car and at-home use. It runs from the built-in rechargeable battery for approximately 4 to 6 hours according to the manufacturer, or from vehicle power via the cigarette lighter socket. The screen can be adjusted with one press to face rear seats or swivel out for bedside viewing. It supports common DVD formats and reads region-free discs, which makes it convenient for travelling with international DVDs. Note that it does not support Blu-ray discs and some burned or poor-quality DVDs may fail to play.

## The Best of This Model

This YOTON model stands out for its flexible mounting and multiple playback options. The USB and SD card slots accept media such as MP4 and JPEG files from drives and memory cards, while the 3-in-1 AV cable lets the player connect to a TV or projector, useful for impromptu outdoor screenings. The last-play memory feature resumes from the point you stopped, which is handy for interrupted journeys or pausing between chapters. There is also an earphone output for quiet listening on flights or in shared spaces.

## Usage Recommendations

For car use, mount the player securely on the headrest or place it on the dashboard using a suitable bracket, and use the DC 9–12V adapter supplied for continuous power on longer trips. When using battery power, allow full charging with the AC adapter which fully charges in about five hours according to the manufacturer. For best picture quality from USB or SD media, use files encoded at or below the maximum supported resolution of 720 x 480 pixels. Keep in mind that this player will not play Blu-ray discs and compatibility with some burnt DVDs can vary, so test media before setting off on long journeys.
