Why it’s worth it
The main selling point is thicker construction and a stronger sticky backing, which according to the manufacturer removes the need for extra glue when applied to a clean, smooth surface. The 12x12 size covers approximately 40% more area than a 10x10 tile so you need fewer sheets to cover the same wall, which helps reduce installation time and waste. A minor caveat to bear in mind is that adhesion depends on surface preparation, so irregular or very porous walls may require additional priming.
How to use it
Installation is straightforward, peel and stick on clean, dry and smooth surfaces and trim the sheets to fit around sockets and trims. It’s easy to cut with a utility knife and to reposition briefly during application. It’s a good fit if you want a quick refresh without full retiling, and less suitable if you expect heavy wear or need grout joints for structural reasons.
Care & maintenance
Wipe with a damp cloth for everyday cleaning and avoid abrasive cleaners to keep the surface finish intact. Heat resistant properties mean occasional splashes and steam from cooking or showering are not a major concern, but prolonged exposure to direct heat from hobs should be avoided.
Yoillione Upgrade Thicker Peel and Stick Wall Tiles offer a pragmatic, value focused option for simple refurbishments, combining improved thickness and stickiness with easy installation. 😊🧽.
