## Description

## What it is
The Yizhet Camping Lights pack comprises two compact lanterns that each double as a USB rechargeable power bank. With an internal 1800mAh battery, they offer lighting for tents or rooms and can top up a phone or other devices via micro USB. Designed for use indoors and outdoors, they blend portability with practical charging capability.

## How it works and what it offers
Each lantern features three lighting modes: strong light (180lm) for general illumination, soft light (90lm) for ambient use, and a flashing strobe (70lm) which can serve as an emergency SOS signal. On a full charge, you can expect roughly 6 hours in strong mode, 8 hours in soft mode, and about 11 hours in strobe depending on usage. The built‑in magnetic base lets you attach it to metal surfaces like car bodies, while a carabiner clip enables easy hanging from tents, branches or backpacks.

## Design and durability
The lamps use a sturdy combination of ABS and aluminium alloy, with the LED source chosen for energy efficiency. They’re compact (around 1.97 x 2.76 inches) and lightweight, making them straightforward to carry on hikes or camping trips. The IP43 rating provides a degree of splash resistance for outdoor use, though they aren’t intended for full submersion.

## Practical use cases
If you prioritise pragmatic light for camping, fishing trips, or power outages, these lanterns offer a two‑fold benefit: reliable illumination and a compact USB charger in one unit. They are especially useful when you need hands‑free light or a quick mobile recharge without carrying extra gadgets. A potential limitation is that the battery capacity is modest by today’s standards, so heavy phone use may consume charge quickly.

## What to watch out for
- Battery capacity is built into each unit, expect more frequent charging with high phone power needs.
- IP43 means some protection against splashes, but avoid soaking or prolonged exposure to heavy rain.
- The included micro USB cable handles charging but you may need your own longer lead for convenience at campsites.

## Who this is for
Great for budget‑mavoursted campers, weekend hikers, or households seeking an affordable emergency light with a small charging option. If you want a heftier battery pack or more intense illumination for prolonged use, this setup might feel limited.

## When it makes sense to buy
Choose these when you want lightweight, easy‑to‑carry lanterns that can double as a charger and are sensible value for casual outdoor use or occasional power backups.

## When it might not be the best fit
If you need long‑lasting battery life between charges, or you require a rugged, fully submersible design, you may want to consider alternatives with larger capacities or different waterproof ratings. Also, if you expect to rely on charging devices frequently, the 1800mAh per unit could become a constraint.

## Before you buy
- Check if two lanterns meet your setup needs (e.g., tent lighting and extra charging).
- Confirm compatibility with your devices and charging cables you already own.
- Consider how you’ll store and manage charging cycles during longer trips.

## How it compares in practice
This two‑pack sits in the entry to mid‑range for camping lighting with a practical charging capability. If you’re weighing options, it makes sense for lightweight trips or as a backup light/charger, whereas alternatives with larger power banks or higher brightness might be preferred for extended stays or more demanding environments.

## Final decision
### Is it worth it?
It’s worth considering if you want a compact lighting solution that also provides a small backup charge for basic devices and you’re not aiming for high‑demand charging on trips. It may not be ideal if battery longevity or rugged waterproofing is a primary concern.

## Quick FAQ
- How long does the battery last on a full charge? Up to about 6–11 hours depending on mode.
- Can it charge a phone? Yes, via the micro USB connection.
- Is it waterproof? It has IP43 protection, not suitable for immersion or heavy rain.
