## Description

This replacement filter pack keeps a cat water fountain supplying clearer, better-tasting water for daily drinking and encourages pets to stay hydrated. The Yiupea set of six combines a cotton pre-filter, activated carbon and ion-exchange resin in a triple-stage layout, reducing impurities and odours for fountains of 2 L or 2.5 L capacity.

## Key Points

Each filter is individually wrapped to preserve freshness and hygiene, making storage and handling simple. The outer cotton layer replaces a plastic frame and is biodegradable, which may reduce long-term waste compared with conventional plastic-cased cartridges. According to the manufacturer, regular replacement helps limit build-up of food residue and visible particles that can reach a fountain reservoir.

## Technical Specifications

- **Name**: **Yiupea Filters for Cat Water Fountain 6 Pack**
- Compatible sizes: 2 L and 2.5 L fountains (67 oz and 84 oz)
- Filter dimensions: 10 cm (3.9 inches) diameter, central hole 2 cm (0.79 inches)
- Materials: cotton pre-filter, activated carbon, ion-exchange resin
- Pack: 6 individually sealed replacement filters

## Benefits

The combination of cotton, activated carbon and resin targets different types of contaminants. Cotton captures hair and food debris, activated carbon reduces odours and chlorine taste, and ion-exchange resin helps lower certain dissolved minerals. This layered approach supports fresher water between changes and can be particularly useful in households where multiple pets share a single fountain. Note that filter life depends on use and water quality, and the manufacturer recommends replacements every 2 to 4 weeks.

## Usage Recommendations

Soak each new filter for about one minute before placing it into the fountain to remove loose dust from packaging. For consistent performance, replace according to the level of use and the number of animals using the fountain, leaning towards more frequent changes in busier homes. Consider storing unopened, wrapped filters in a cool, dry place to maintain effectiveness.
