## Description

This cosy cave-style pet bed combines a plush sleeping surface with a soft foam top to create a sheltered resting spot for small dogs and cats. Designed for indoor use, the YIGAARUI model in 65 cm offers a warm, covered space that helps pets relax and settle, especially those that like to burrow or hide.

## Key Points

The cave design features a raised foam-covered top that holds its shape and creates a den-like interior where pets can feel safe. The soft faux-plush lining cushions paws and joints while the thicker outer wall gives a sense of enclosure and warmth. According to the manufacturer, the bed is most suitable for animals under 10 kg, and the dimensions are given to help check fit for kittens, small dogs and other compact pets.

The base has a non-slip, waterproof finish to keep the bed steady on wooden or tiled floors and to protect the filling from light spills. The product is supplied vacuum packed, so allow time for the foam top and plush fibres to expand back to their fluffy state after opening. For best results, give the bed up to two weeks to regain full loft.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **YIGAARUI Calming Dog Bed (65 cm, coffee)**
- Outer diameter: 65 x 40 cm
- Cave inner diameter: 50 x 25 cm
- Recommended pet weight: under 10 kg
- Bottom: non-slip and waterproof material
- Cover: foam-filled top with plush interior

## Benefits

The sheltered form can help reduce anxiety in pets that prefer enclosed spaces, offering a private nook for naps and quiet time. The foam top is described as more resilient than simple fabric-only models, so the entrance keeps a soft, upright shape rather than collapsing flat. This can make it easier for smaller or less mobile animals to enter and exit without the whole hood folding down.

Maintenance is straightforward because the materials are washable in line with the manufacturer’s care guidance. The non-skid base adds peace of mind when placed on slippery surfaces, preventing the bed from sliding away as pets move. The neutral coffee colour blends with many interiors and avoids showing light dirt quickly.

## Usage Recommendations

Place the bed in a quiet corner away from draughts but where your pet already likes to rest. When first unpacked, shake and pat the bed to help the foam and fibres recover, then leave it in a ventilated room for the fibres to loft. For pets approaching the 10 kg limit, check the inner cave measurements to ensure enough room for comfortable turning and stretching.

Consider that the foam top needs a short recovery period after vacuum packing and may take up to two weeks to reach full volume. Also note that very large or highly active dogs will require a larger, more robust bed with firmer support.
