XHDA 100-Pack Yellow Neck Lanyards with Metal Swivel Hook for ID Badges
Product description
What it is
A practical value pack of 100 yellow neck lanyards designed for attaching ID badges, access cards and other small essentials. Made from nylon, they’re soft, lightweight and abrasion-resistant, with a non-itch fabric line to help prevent neck irritation during long wear.
How it’s built
The lanyards feature a metal swivel hook that rotates 360 degrees, providing reliable security for a badge holder while remaining easy to open and close. The neck strap is about 45 cm (18 inches) long and around 1 cm (0.4 inch) wide, a straightforward size that suits everyday use in offices, schools and events.
What stands out
On the surface, the design is simple: durability, comfort, and security. The nylon material balances softness with resilience, and the swivel hook helps minimise twisting or tangling of badges during movement. The colour helps visibility in crowded settings, useful for staff or attendees who need to be recognised quickly.
Who it’s for
This set is well suited for workplaces, conference organisers, schools, and event coordinators who need enough lanyards to outfit many people without fuss. It’s also handy for groups like tour operators or field trips where multiple badges or small items need to be carried securely.
When it makes sense to buy
If you prioritise practical, low-maintenance lanyards in bulk, this 100-pack offers a straightforward solution. It’s a sensible choice when you want a uniform look across a team or cohort and you don’t require bespoke branding or additional features beyond a reliable badge‑holding solution.
Things to note
While the lanyards are suitable for everyday use, they are a basic design without added features such as breakaway clasps or customised branding. If you expect high-frequency badge transfers or need a more premium finish, you may want to assess alternatives. Also, the product description doesn’t specify compatibility beyond standard badge holders, so it’s worth checking that your specific holders fit the 1 cm width strap.
Practical use ideas
In a busy workplace, slip on a badge in the morning and you’re set for the day. At events, distribute them to participants for quick identification, or use them to keep small key cards handy during tours. The 360° swivel hook helps your badge face forward as you move around.
What to check before buying
Confirm that your badge holders and cards are compatible with a 1 cm width strap. Consider whether you need additional safety features like a breakaway connection for environments with strict safety rules. If you’re after branding, you’ll need a different product configuration.
Quick comparison takeaway
If you want bulk lanyards with reliable basics, this set should suffice. If your environment requires a breakaway feature, colour-coding by department, or customised branding, you may prefer a model with those options or a higher specification.
Is it worth it?
Final verdict: Worth considering if you need a large, inexpensive supply of simple, functional lanyards for everyday use and bulk distribution. It may not be the best option if your context demands safety features, tailored branding, or advanced badge management.
