X XBEN Long Line Dog Lead 35M
Product description
The X XBEN long line dog lead gives distance and control for recall training and outdoor exercise, combining a lightweight polyester cord with robust fittings for everyday use. It is designed for dogs that need room to explore while remaining attached, such as during recall practice, beach walks or countryside hikes.
Key features
This lead balances reach and durability while staying light enough that most dogs barely notice it when running. The polyester webbing resists wear and is tested to withstand a pulling force of 250KG according to the manufacturer, and reflective threads improve visibility in low light. A soft padded handle cushions the hand during sudden pulls, and a metal D-ring offers a handy place to clip small accessories.

Why it makes sense
The padded handle is noticeably thicker than common designs and uses SBR fabric inside the cushion to reduce friction and discomfort during energetic outings. The zinc alloy hook is nickel plated for corrosion resistance and rotates 360 degrees to help prevent tangles, which is helpful when a dog moves unpredictably. Reflective stitching gives extra peace of mind for dusk or dawn walks, though you should still use a visible collar light in very low light.
Best use cases
Use the 35M lead for recall training where giving controlled freedom helps build reliable responses. It’s good for both puppies and adult dogs, including breeds from small terriers to larger shepherd types. It’s also practical on open countryside walks or at the beach where you want to allow running without losing control.
Care & maintenance
Rinse the lead after exposure to salt water and let it air dry before storing to prolong the life of the fabric and metal fittings. Inspect the hook and stitching periodically for signs of wear, and replace the lead if any part shows damage that could affect safety.
