## Description

This thermal base layer set combines a snug long-sleeve top and long johns to keep you warm during cold-weather activities such as skiing, snowboarding and mountaineering. The polyester outer with a fleece interior offers insulation and fast-drying performance, while the four-way stretch zones allow freedom of movement for active use.

## Key Points

The set uses a fleece lining that traps heat without adding bulk, which helps during high-output winter sports or layered systems for expeditions. According to the manufacturer, the fabric incorporates silver ion treatment that helps reduce bacterial growth and odour over time, making it more comfortable on multi-day trips. The design includes flat seam construction for reduced chafing and greater comfort under outer layers. Colours follow the product images with a predominantly black base and green and brown on the sleeves, offering a low-profile aesthetic on the slopes 🎿.

Breathability and quick-dry properties make the top and bottoms useful for activities where perspiration management is needed, such as cross-country skiing or cycling in cool conditions. The garment may not provide the same windproof protection as a dedicated shell layer, so consider adding an outer jacket in exposed conditions. Also, sizes can fit differently between brands, and some users may prefer sizing up for added layering space.

## Usage Recommendations

Wear the set as a base layer under a waterproof shell for alpine days, or use it as an insulating mid-layer during low-intensity winter hikes. For high-sweat activities like uphill cycling or fast touring, combine with a breathable mid-layer to manage moisture and maintain comfort. The fleece interior provides warmth when stationary, but layering strategy is important on windy ridgelines or during heavy precipitation. For machine care, follow the garment label instructions to preserve the antibacterial treatment and fabric performance.

This description ends with practical details and considerations to help match the garment to your cold-weather routine.
