Designed to resemble the effect of carved wood, it is hand-painted with a screen-printed base and stands at 23cm tall. This piece forms part of the Willow Tree line, known for its understated, expressive figures that evoke gentle, everyday moments. ## What it aims to solve If you’re looking for a compact, tasteful decorative figurine with a folk-art vibe for a mantel, shelf or display cabinet, this Zampognaro piece provides a quiet storytelling element without occupying much space. It suits settings where minimal colour and a natural, carved-wood appearance are preferred over glossy finishes. ## Design and craft details The figure is crafted to recall carved wood through hand-painting and simple, silhouette-driven form. The base features a screen-printed design, contributing to a subtle contrast with the figure itself. Height is 23cm, which makes it noticeable without dominating a room. As with many Willow Tree items, the emphasis is on gesture and mood rather than ornate detailing. ## What stands out - Elegant restraint: clean lines and soft colouring work well with a range of decors. - Size and presence: at 23cm, it adds a focal point without overpowering small rooms or desks. - Brand aesthetic: aligns with Willow Tree’s signature approach to expressive, non-verbal figures. ## Considerations and potential drawbacks - If you prefer vibrant colours or high-gloss finishes, this piece may feel too understated. - Some buyers look for more elaborate scene pieces, for them, the simplicity of this figurine could be underwhelming. - It is a decorative object, it isn’t designed to be interactive or functional beyond visual appeal. ## Who it’s for This figurine may suit collectors of Willow Tree, fans of simple, narrative sculpture, or anyone seeking a neutral, versatile ornament for living rooms, bedrooms or workspaces. It works well as a small gift for those who appreciate craft-inspired home décor with a gentle, timeless feel. ## Who it’s not ideal for If you’re after bold colours, heavy detailing, or a display piece meant to be the centrepiece of a room, this may not satisfy those preferences. It’s also not a large statement sculpture, so it won’t replace larger decor anchors. ## When it makes sense to buy Consider this if you value understated design, wish to complement a neutral interior, or need a compact, durable keepsake that won’t clash with existing décor. It suits shelves and mantels where a calm, contemplative aesthetic is desired. ## What to check before buying - Confirm the finish matches your other Willow Tree pieces if you already own them. - Consider the display space: 23cm height is noticeable but not dominant. - Ensure you’re comfortable with a sculptural piece that relies on form and mood over colour or texture. ## Practical usage notes Place it where natural light or soft ambient lighting can highlight the sculptural surface without glare. Pair it with other Willow Tree figures to create a narrative or keep it solo for a minimalist moment. ## How it compares to other approaches If you want a tactile, carved-wood look without wood, this hand-painted figurine offers that vibe with a screen-printed base for stability. For bolder statement pieces, you’d likely opt for larger or more colour-rich sculptures, for mass-market mass-produced pieces, this design emphasises craft and restraint. ## Should you buy it? ### Should you buy it? This Willow Tree figurine makes sense if you prioritise subtlety, durability, and a cohesive, calm display. It isn’t the best choice if you want a loud centrepiece or a highly ornate gift. You’ll likely appreciate the quiet sentiment it conveys and its compatibility with a wide range of interior styles. ## FAQ - How tall is it? 23cm. - Is it a good gift for a home office? Yes, if the recipient prefers understated decor. - Is the finish durable for daily handling? It’s designed as a decorative piece, gentle handling is advisable to maintain the finish over time. ## Images ![Willow Tree Zampognaro Shepherd Figurine by Susan Lordi — 1](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/JDdBWvI-YMdGK5k33z-b2h0OTVocUHC-GbzZow6DWAZlBIyPqFJqXsww0OH08yE6FX3L6SX-b1ZoiyX5_qQhHQ4qZRh9TWNerT9dVDv9KQlXTg3IF2B9iWQjlQ.jpg) ![Willow Tree Zampognaro Shepherd Figurine by Susan Lordi — 2](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/nIcgmDSTewOyOBS3LNEOJjGZXT9zgZHFdPhy1h0kFV8b-txwOqEKit23jZAZkBZoF-E6DZInts2M5dfG74xChRRT9Hun-FqE1KpPaGj8uLU2qjYZWO0sRti9yw.jpg) ![Willow Tree Zampognaro Shepherd Figurine by Susan Lordi — 3](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/SOH8J_X9ffit3BfkosZXP0CLI-xp-a7U4WbP3adZ_yoT2riW3gV0StbckExAoK76b1kQGm5m-6pP3xINckqIbXaHK63hh0N4R73K8XooUKm_aKI1qL7Z2upzdA.jpg) ![Willow Tree Zampognaro Shepherd Figurine by Susan Lordi — 4](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/L3GbLXIfQkrIa9mZsGBd8UdmKpEwFw3fGqx7_7r57Akq5OyeZNug_lS-Lja50xzxzG8jYi7vAo3T6JaByV6ZLTjfI8tPv5e9RCT94ekNCw3Ir55mXiGQCsC7jQ.jpg) ![Willow Tree Zampognaro Shepherd Figurine by Susan Lordi — 5](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/6Edy27zvP3_5mRjTJNNn3aqcewIFeeTGQZiBoZsyr6dL_eS5YQe39jHTk5T1HZ5e_r95CogHapZJe8t__79KyfVwN7lv8lnvz6_SGzQi8mKY_B8sTzAxiWe7Lg.jpg)
