WESTWOOD FOX WFX motorcycle gloves for touchscreen riding

This pair of motorcycle gloves combines durable protection with touchscreen convenience for everyday riding and light off-road use. The WESTWOOD FOX WFX design focuses on impact resistance at the knuckles and a breathable fit that can be used across seasons, making them practical for commuting and leisure rides.

Key Points

The gloves include reinforced synthetic suede on the palm for improved grip and abrasion resistance, together with stitched padding across stress points for added durability. They have articulated finger joints with hard shell elements to reduce impact to the hands while maintaining dexterity for gear changes and controls. The adjustable wrist closure keeps the glove secure and helps block wind on cooler rides. 🧤

These gloves also adopt conductive material on the thumb, index and middle fingers so you can operate a smartphone or GPS without removing them. Consider that the hard shell protections may feel slightly rigid during initial use, but they settle with wear and allow very controlled finger movement. 📱

Usage Recommendations

For short urban commutes the gloves offer a good balance between tactile feel and protection, particularly when paired with jackets that have matching wrist coverage. For off-road or aggressive riding they provide palm reinforcement and impact shielding, though riders expecting race-level protection may prefer dedicated race gloves. When using a touchscreen device, press firmly and steadily as the conductive patches are designed for single-finger taps and swipes rather than multi-touch gestures. ⚙️

The breathable microfibre helps reduce sweat build-up on warm days and the stitching appears robust for regular use. If you plan long tours in heavy rain, consider adding waterproof liners because the description indicates breathability but does not state full waterproofing according to the manufacturer.
