## Description

Loose large-format sheets are awkward to store without bending or letting them shift around. This WestonBoxes box is sized to keep SRA3 paper flat, with a lid to cover the contents.

Its clear plastic lid makes it easier to see what is inside without opening the box. That is useful when you keep different drawings or prints in the same storage area.

A3 sheets also fit, but have more room to move. If a close fit matters, the box is better matched to SRA3 paper.

## Best use cases

This is intended for storing large-format prints, architectural drawings and fine art paper. For example, you could place a finished SRA3 print inside after a studio session, close the lid and keep the sheet flat until it is needed again. The format also suits paper you want to store together rather than roll up or leave exposed on a work surface.

The box is made from a thicker grade of polypropylene, described as rigid enough to support oversized sheets without flexing under the weight of a full stack. That makes it more suited to keeping a group of sheets together than using a loose folder. You’ll like it if you need a flat storage space for SRA3 work and want to see the contents through the lid. It’s not for you if you need a box with stated impact protection for carrying valuable prints around: no such protection rating is provided.

## Product specs

The internal dimensions are 460 x 330 x 55mm, while SRA3 paper measures 450 x 320mm. The box is also suitable for A3 paper, although the extra room means those sheets can move around more. Its clear plastic lid covers the contents, and the material is PP5 polypropylene, described as acid-free, moisture-resistant and suitable for archival storage.

Those material properties are relevant if you are storing fine art paper or drawings for the longer term. Still, the listing does not give details such as a fastening mechanism or a seal, so it is best understood as a covered storage box rather than a sealed container. From the way it is set up, the main buying decision is whether the internal size and shallow 55mm depth suit the sheets and stack you want to store.

## Where it shines

The close SRA3 fit is the practical point of difference: the paper has minimal room to move, whereas A3 sits less snugly. If your priority is keeping SRA3 sheets flat and grouped, that makes more sense than choosing a general-purpose box with a larger, less specific footprint. The clear lid is another useful detail when you want to identify a print or drawing at a glance.

WestonBoxes says the product is made in Britain at its own factory in Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey, by a family business established in 1948. That provides some context on its origin, but the decision should still come down to the paper size, storage depth and whether you need a lid rather than a folder or another open storage method.

## Final verdict

Choose this box if you store SRA3 prints, drawings or art paper flat and want a rigid polypropylene container with a clear lid. Its dimensions are specific enough to keep SRA3 sheets relatively settled, while A3 is a looser fit. If your main need is secure transport, a sealed container or a box with documented impact protection, the available details do not establish that this one will meet it.
