## Description

This compact rechargeable headlamp from WARSUN combines a bright main beam and an adjustable side COB panel to light up campsites, trails or work areas with hands-free convenience. With motion-sensor activation and multiple output modes, it suits outdoor activities like camping, hiking and fishing while also serving as an emergency light.

## Key Points

The head torch offers up to 800 lumens from the primary LEDs and a separate COB side light that also reaches up to 800 lumens, so it can illuminate a tent interior or a short-distance path. The side panel pivots through 90 degrees, allowing targeted flood lighting without moving your head. A sensitive motion sensor lets you switch the lamp on or off with a simple hand wave, which is useful when your hands are occupied or dirty. The lamp includes steady red and flashing red options for signalling or preserving night vision. According to the manufacturer, run time varies by mode from approximately 3 to 20 hours and a full charge takes about 3 hours using the USB Type-C cable.

## Technical Specifications

- **Name: WARSUN Rechargeable LED Headlamp Head Torch**
- Battery capacity: 1800 mAh polymer lithium battery.
- Maximum output: 800 lumens (main LEDs), 800 lumens (COB side light).
- Adjustable angle: 0–90 degrees for the COB panel.
- Charging: USB Type-C, full charge in about 3 hours.
- Weight: approximately 2.1 ounces.
- Water resistance: IPX5 splash resistant.

## Benefits

The combination of a focused long-range beam and a wide-angle COB side light makes the lamp versatile for different tasks. Motion-sensor control reduces fumbling with buttons, which is particularly handy in low temperatures or when wearing gloves. The red light modes preserve night vision during map reading or nighttime fishing and also serve as a visible marker in low-visibility conditions. Lightweight construction and an adjustable elastic strap help maintain comfort during long wear periods.

## Usage Recommendations

For prolonged outings, start with a lower brightness mode to maximise battery life and switch to high output only when needed. Use the adjustable side panel to illuminate work surfaces or a tent without disturbing companions. Consider the red steady or flashing modes for signalling or to avoid disrupting wildlife while on night walks. Note that while the IPX5 rating protects against splashes and rain, the lamp is not designed for full submersion, so avoid prolonged exposure to heavy downpours or immersion.
