## Description

This indoor smart trainer from Wahoo brings realistic road feel and structured training to your home setup. It suits riders wanting consistent resistance and accurate power data for focused sessions. If you train with apps like Zwift you will notice faster pairing and more responsive data during intense efforts.

## What to know
The KICKR CORE 2 improves on the original Core with easier setup and stronger connectivity, including integrated WiFi for automatic updates. You get the familiar KICKR ride feel with firm resistance for hard intervals, and race mode broadcasts power data up to ten times faster than the previous Core, according to the manufacturer. Ten speed cassettes are supported via the included 11 speed cassette format, and virtual shifting through Zwift lets you match indoor gearing to your preferred outdoor setup. Note that you should confirm cassette compatibility with your bike before fitting.

## Technical overview
- Name: **Wahoo KICKR CORE 2 11 SPEED CASSETTE**
- Max Power: 1800W
- Accuracy: ±2%
- Auto Calibration: Yes
- Connectivity: WiFi and compatible protocols

## Benefits
The trainer delivers a stable ride that absorbs cadence changes and simulates road feel, helping maintain training intensity during intervals. The updated LED system gives clear status at a glance, and KICKR Bridge allows streaming from heart rate monitors and other controllers. It is robust enough for frequent use and designed to integrate with popular training ecosystems.

## Best use cases
You’ll like it if you use indoor cycling apps and want a responsive trainer for structured workouts and simulated races. It makes sense if you value straightforward setup and reliable power readings for progress tracking. It might not be a great match if you need a totally silent or direct-drive unit with different cassette standards, in which case review compatibility, especially if your drivetrain has unusual specifications.
