## Description

This smart bathroom scale from Vitafit measures weight on a sturdy glass platform and syncs body composition data to your phone, making it easier to track changes over time. It is aimed at home users who want accurate weight readings and a fuller picture of body metrics during fitness or wellness routines.

## Key Points

The scale displays weight directly and sends 12 additional body composition measurements to the companion app, including BMI, body fat and muscle mass. According to the manufacturer, it supports unlimited user profiles so family members can keep separate histories, and it offers special modes for athletes and for pregnancy with restricted measurements in pregnancy mode. Setup is straightforward via the Vitafit app on Apple Store or Google Play, and it can sync data with Apple Health, Fitbit and Google Fit. There is an auto-off function to save battery, plus indicators for low battery and overload.

## Technical Specifications

- **Name: Vitafit Smart Bathroom Scales**
- Capacity: 182 kg / 400 lb / 28 st
- Platform size: 280 x 280 mm
- Accuracy increments: 0.05 kg / 0.1 lb
- Power: 3 x AAA batteries
- Body composition metrics: 13 measurements stored in the app

## Benefits

The glass platform offers a wide and comfortable surface for standing, which helps stability during each reading. With fine increments of measurement the scale provides consistent steps in the data, useful when monitoring small changes week to week. App synchronisation removes manual logging and allows you to compare trends over longer periods, which may help maintain motivation for fitness goals. The athlete mode adjusts algorithms to reflect higher muscle mass, while pregnancy mode limits readings to weight and BMI, which reduces unnecessary body composition metrics during gestation.

## Usage Recommendations

Place the scale on a flat, hard surface for the most reliable readings. Step on bare feet and keep still until the measurement completes. For longitudinal tracking, open the app and allow syncing after each weigh-in so the history is updated automatically. If several people use the device, create separate profiles in the app to avoid mixing data between users. Consider replacing batteries in pairs when low battery is indicated to maintain consistent performance.

Notes and limitations: body composition estimates are provided by bioelectrical impedance analysis and may vary with hydration levels, recent exercise and other factors, so treat them as indicative trends rather than clinical measurements. The scale is powered by three AAA batteries which are included according to the seller, and the glass platform needs careful handling despite being tempered for greater strength. 🧍♀️📱⚖️
