## Description

This micro-cut paper shredder brings secure disposal to a busy workspace, offering high security and practical features for everyday use. If you need a reliable home office paper shredder that handles staples and clips and runs for extended periods, this unit delivers consistent shredding with noise kept to a minimum.

## Key Points

The unit cuts paper into micro particles to meet P-4 security standards, which helps protect sensitive documents from casual reconstruction. It accepts up to 18 sheets in a single pass according to the manufacturer and can handle staples and paper clips without the need for manual removal, which speeds up routine clearing of documents. The shredder includes an auto-start and auto-reverse function to reduce jams, and a patented cooling system that allows for **60 minutes continuous operation** before a rest cycle is required.

Mobility is practical thanks to four removable castors and a slide-out 30 litre bin that reduces the frequency of emptying. Noise is kept low at around 58 dB, so the machine can sit in a shared room without creating constant disturbance. It will also accept credit cards and CDs one at a time, expanding its usefulness beyond paper alone. 🗂️

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **VidaTeco Mirco-Cut Paper Shredder Heavy Duty**
- Security level: **P-4** (micro-cut particles)
- Sheet capacity: 18 sheets per pass
- Particle size: 5 x 12 mm
- Bin capacity: 30 litres (7.9 gallons)
- Continuous run time: 60 minutes with cooling system
- Noise level: 58 dB

## Usage Recommendations

Place the shredder on a flat surface and use the slide-out basket for clean emptying to avoid dust spread. For larger workloads, allow the machine to rest for approximately 60 minutes after a full continuous cycle to protect internal components according to the manufacturer. If you encounter resistance while feeding multiple sheets, the auto-reverse feature can clear a tendency to jam and helps maintain a smooth shredding flow. 📄

Consider that the device shreds credit cards and CDs singly, so processing a large volume of those materials will take more time than shredding paper. Also note that the manufacturer warns some fine paper particles may remain in the basket or head after shredding, which is a normal result of micro-cut operation rather than a fault. 🧾
