## Description

This compact micro-cut paper shredder is designed to protect personal data in a home or small office environment. The VidaTeco unit shreds up to ten 20 lb sheets at once into small cross-cut particles, making it a suitable micro-cut paper shredder for home office use while also handling credit cards and small media with one-pass convenience.

## Key Points

The shredder operates to P-4 security standards and produces 4 x 36 mm particles, which reduces the legibility of sensitive documents. It accepts staples and paper clips without pre-removal, and it can also destroy credit cards and CDs one at a time, helping to consolidate different types of media disposal in the same machine. 🔒

Operation is simple thanks to three modes: auto, off and reverse. The reverse function makes clearing minor jams easier and helps avoid repeated interruptions during normal use. For light daily workloads the lift-out collection basket of 15 litres, shown with a transparent window, makes disposal straightforward and fewer emptying cycles are needed. 🗑️

Consider that the shredder has a limited continuous run time of approximately 3 minutes. According to the manufacturer the unit requires a cooling period of about 40 minutes after extended use to prevent overheating, so it may not suit high-volume shredding without breaks.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **VidaTeco Micro-Cut Paper Shredder**
- Security level: P-4 (micro-cut, 4 x 36 mm particles)
- Sheet capacity: 10 sheets (20 lb bond) per pass
- Basket capacity: 15 L (approx. 3.9 gallons)
- Run time / cool down: 3 minutes run time, 40 minutes cool-down

## Usage Recommendations

Place the shredder on a stable surface with easy access to the lift-out basket and the transparent window for quick checks of fill level. Feed paper straight and avoid stacking items beyond the stated 10-sheet limit to reduce the risk of overheating or more severe jams. For occasional destruction of credit cards or CDs insert them one at a time as the manufacturer indicates to protect the cutting mechanism.

For household or small office users who need enhanced document security, this model balances compact size with micro-cut performance. Keep the unit in a ventilated area when performing multiple short sessions, and allow the full cool-down period if the thermal protection activates to preserve the motor and cutting heads.
