Vax SpotWash Home CDSW-MPXA 4.5kg handheld carpet cleaner
Product description
This compact spot cleaner from Vax tackles pet messes and everyday stains around the home and in the car with targeted tools and a rotating brush for deeper agitation. It helps remove spots on upholstery, stairs and rugs while remaining small enough to store easily, making quick clean-ups more straightforward.
Key Points
The machine comes with a toolkit aimed at pet owners, including a handheld brush that rotates to lift dirt from fibres and a selection of nozzles for carpets, hard floors and crevices. The included cleaning solutions are described by the manufacturer as antibacterial and formulated for pet stains and odours, which can be useful for tackling smelly or stubborn spills. 🧼
Portability is a strong aspect of this model. Weighing 4.5kg, it is light enough to carry between rooms and has a slim body that fits in compact storage spaces. The hose gives extra reach for stairs and car interiors, and accessories are supplied in an accessory bag for neat organisation. 🚗
A minor limitation to consider is that, as a lightweight spot cleaner, it is designed for targeted stain removal rather than whole-room deep-cleaning of large carpets. For extensive carpet care, a full-size upright cleaner may be more appropriate.

Usage Recommendations
Use short bursts of the solution on concentrated stains and allow a few seconds for the formula to act before agitating with the rotating brush to help loosen embedded dirt. For upholstery and delicate fabrics, test a small hidden area first and use the smaller attachments for precision cleaning around seams and cushions. 🧽
After cleaning, empty and rinse the dirty water tank and wipe down attachments to prevent residue build-up. The antimicrobial-treated tools help reduce bacterial growth on surfaces of the accessories, according to the manufacturer, but regular cleaning of the machine will maintain performance and hygiene.
