## Description

This orthotic insole from VALSOLE offers firm arch support and shock absorption to relieve foot pain during daily standing and movement, making it a practical option for people seeking orthotic insoles for plantar fasciitis and other overuse conditions. The design focuses on stabilising the rearfoot and supporting the medial arch to reduce overpronation, while also adding cushioning for comfort throughout the day.

## Key Points

The insole gives a high and rigid arch support that aims to control excessive pronation and help keep the subtalar joint aligned. It includes a deep heel cup to help centre the heel bone and improve balance when walking or standing for long periods. Materials combine a resilient TPU shell for structural support and a Poron heel pad to absorb impact and reduce shock to the heel and forefoot. 👟

Fit is adjustable by trimming, so you can customise the shape for running shoes, work boots, walking footwear and larger-volume dress shoes. The manufacturer notes a break-in period during which users may feel increased pressure for three to seven days, and recommends gradually increasing wear time over the first week. This gradual approach helps the foot adapt to the added correction and support. 🦶

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **VALSOLE Orthotic Insole, Arch SupportFor Insole, Plantar FasciitisInsole (Blue-V227)**
- Size range: UK 11 - 29.5 cm
- Colour: Blue
- Materials: Poron heel pad, TPU arch support, fabric topcover
- Intended use: Men and women, daily wear and sports support
- Conditions addressed: Plantar fasciitis, overpronation, flat feet, metatarsalgia, heel pain

## Benefits

The combination of a rigid arch and a cushioned heel aims to reduce strain on the plantar fascia and distribute pressure more evenly across the foot. The TPU mould keeps the arch elevated, which can reduce stress on tendons and soft tissues during prolonged standing. Poron cushioning is known for energy return and durability, which helps when you spend many hours on your feet. The fabric top reduces odour build-up and feels cooler than some foam-only insoles.

## Usage Recommendations

Begin with two to seven hours of use on the first day and increase wear time progressively each day until full-time use is comfortable. Trim to fit the shoe interior if necessary, following the outline on the insole and comparing to your current innersole. Consider alternating these insoles with a softer pair at first if you regularly wear minimal footwear, because the rigid arch can feel pronounced during the adaptation period. Additionally, if you have significant structural foot issues or severe pain, consult a healthcare professional for personalised advice.
