## Description

This compact wireless reversing camera from Uzone makes lining up trailers and parking easier by relaying a live 2.4 GHz WiFi feed to your iOS or Android device. It is designed for temporary or semi-permanent mounting, with a magnetic base and an internal rechargeable battery to allow quick setup on cars, vans, caravans, trailers and trucks while offering night vision for low-light manoeuvres.

## Key Points

The camera connects directly to a smartphone or tablet via 2.4 GHz WiFi so no monitor installation is needed, and setup is as simple as attaching the magnetic mount and pairing the device. Night visibility is supported by six infrared LEDs that, according to the manufacturer, can illuminate up to around 30 feet, which helps when hitching or reversing after dark. The housing carries an IP68 rating, so the unit resists dust and can cope with immersion in water for short periods, making it suitable for varied weather conditions. The built-in rechargeable battery is charged by USB, allowing the camera to be placed where wired power would be impractical.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **Uzone Wireless Reversing Camera**
- Connectivity: 2.4 GHz WiFi
- Night vision: 6 infrared LEDs, up to approximately 30 ft (according to the manufacturer)
- Waterproof rating: IP68
- Power: Built-in rechargeable battery, USB charging
- Mounting: Magnetic base for metal surfaces

## Practical Tips

For the cleanest feed, mount the camera on a flat metal area close to the hitch point and ensure the lens is clear of mud or debris before use. The magnetic attachment allows fast repositioning but consider an additional safety tether for rough roads to avoid loss. Battery life will vary depending on usage and temperature, so recharge between long trips if you plan extended monitoring. Also test the WiFi pairing at close range initially to confirm that your phone app recognises the camera and shows a stable image.

## Usage Recommendations

Use the camera primarily as an aid for aligning hitches and checking blind spots while reversing. It is convenient for short-term attachment on rental vehicles or trailers because it requires no permanent wiring. Bear in mind that wireless range and image latency depend on environmental interference and smartphone model, so keep the mobile device within a reasonable distance from the camera for best responsiveness.
