The kit focuses on fast, hands-on making, with bright colour options (including some with shiny pearlescent effects) and a glow-in-the-dark finish for extra drama once the lights go out. On paper, it’s aimed at younger kids who want instant results without a long wait. That “quick moulding” approach is the big selling point here, and it also explains the age focus mentioned in the description (4+). If you’re looking for something that feels like a craft project but still turns into a toy straight away, this type of set usually works well. ## What you’ll notice in use The process described is straightforward: place the gel into cold water, mould it, then demould after a short soak. The kit claims instant moulding in about 10 seconds after being placed in cold water, so children aren’t left watching a timer for ages. In practice, that matters because younger kids often lose interest if a step drags on. A typical “after-school” mini-session could look like this: pick a colour (maybe one with a pearlescent look), squeeze the gel into a mould, dip/soak briefly, then release a small 3D pet shape. Then you can finish with the “magic” moment by taking the creations into a darker room to see them glow. It’s the combination of making + a visible payoff that tends to keep attention. ## Key takeaways: colours, moulds, and glow What makes this set feel more than a one-off craft is the variety. You get 20 bright and vivid gel colours and 24 different 3D moulds, which should support plenty of different designs rather than repeating the same shape. You’ll also get the glow-in-the-dark effect once the creations are finished. The description suggests they “glow brightly” in a completely dark environment, which is exactly the sort of feature that turns a craft into something kids want to show off. That luminous element is less about learning facts and more about curiosity and imaginative play. ## Where it shines (and where it may fall short) This kit seems most suited to families who want a shared activity: parent-child crafting, a rainy-day project, or a simple activity for parties and group settings. It’s also mentioned for outdoor camping, kindergarten-style handmade activities, and preschool art classes—so it’s designed to be approachable for carers. That said, it may not suit every household. If you’re after a longer, more detailed crafting experience (with finer steps or more precision work), this set’s fast process may feel a bit “quick and easy” rather than deep. Also, if you don’t want glow-in-the-dark play in the house, the feature that excites many kids could be a downside for others. ## Safety and practical considerations The description states it uses safe, non-toxic materials and is designed for kids aged 4 and above to play independently. That’s reassuring for day-to-day use, but as with any craft activity for younger children, it’s still sensible to keep an eye on handling—especially around water steps and moulding. One other practical point: the gel formula relies on being placed in cold water and on a short timing window (around 10 seconds after cold-water placement). If you’re hoping for a totally hands-off experience, you might need to help with the “dip/soak/demould” rhythm at first. ## Is it worth it? It’s a good fit if you want a children’s DIY water gel craft kit that delivers quick results, offers plenty of colours and moulds (20 gels and 24 moulds), and includes a glow-in-the-dark payoff that extends play after the making step. It also makes sense if you’re planning a simple group activity—something that keeps kids occupied without complex tools. You may want to skip it if you’re seeking a slow-burn craft that prioritises fine-detail modelling, or if your child prefers more “manual” craft activities rather than squeeze-and-mould gel work. It may not be a great match if you dislike glow-in-the-dark toys, or if you’re not comfortable supervising water-based steps. ## Mini FAQ ## What age is it suitable for? The kit is described as being specially designed for kids aged 4 and above. ## How quickly do kids make a mould? The description claims fast moulding in about 10 seconds after the gel is placed in cold water. ## What’s included? Based on the details provided, it includes 20 gel colours and 24 different 3D moulds. ## Does it only work as a craft or also as a toy? It’s intended as both: kids make 3D water pets in moulds and then play with the finished pieces, including the glow-in-the-dark effect. ## Images ![URMYWO Magic Water Elf Toy Kit – DIY 3D Magic Gel Pet Set with 20 gels & 24 moulds — 1](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/gFVdtG6rvvQCv8sRehaN73i644ter54e55YZKQbuh8_JyHXF8uwqwqvOcuylZ71EQP6mcUbzAeeOrvzfuIEv90Y-g6rt4l33TOi82CFMQ7rdb9WMSywL9NrA7Q.jpg) ![URMYWO Magic Water Elf Toy Kit – DIY 3D Magic Gel Pet Set with 20 gels & 24 moulds — 2](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/DwKZyybm2eDWcSbXffcd6nCbAzo3vl_k-k5FgMnKLOuW5iBN_yMPA8UUPT8Dcu7nyyCJ59Hc71ahlDkjryQ0SeEu55SlqPl1K6VyW442Np6WEC1nHQbHpKYCnQ.jpg) ![URMYWO Magic Water Elf Toy Kit – DIY 3D Magic Gel Pet Set with 20 gels & 24 moulds — 3](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/WM0LvkMQH8jeINIbw3XE3s5Ec0wzBTQENlwCt1Yzr7gBeTpwJnLMU9weOjoUaQcm7WN8VNNfaZaYw4Mr09LMRaj6PL5_oVQ28Q-M49LiL9t5Y7YmSDPGDIROPw.jpg) ![URMYWO Magic Water Elf Toy Kit – DIY 3D Magic Gel Pet Set with 20 gels & 24 moulds — 4](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/mLkvAjmjdRqDMKixTnQcCN8E2Mzdr5UlZIPYrVbJ7AAlY8D9lYqZ7unMxMwEGM15IjO5nx0wiVD30qnCzlk2DrFaDTQu8d0mqYb8WHr8R5eEmgswASx6MjRkJQ.jpg) ![URMYWO Magic Water Elf Toy Kit – DIY 3D Magic Gel Pet Set with 20 gels & 24 moulds — 5](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/v7rj1c3fyFwQjokANx0KJePuUgS1s4IlxZGTX7jy4p7u0Ho6MwSET4zWoYW5RLMQRq7TkjUntKnclaNvh0DZAYwF9vKJif6N4GO0gYjiMRNxXwjt7gv5sZhKcA.jpg)
