## Description

This universal TV remote from Loutoc simplifies control of multiple devices around the living room, offering basic navigation and playback functions for a wide range of brands. It is useful for replacing a lost or broken remote and for consolidating control of TVs, DVD players and sound systems in one handset.

## Key Points

Compatibility covers many major television manufacturers including Samsung, LG, Sony, Hisense, TCL, RCA, Toshiba, Panasonic, Sharp, Philips, Haier, Hitachi and JVC. It also lists support for various DVD players, Blu-ray players, soundbars and other AV devices according to the manufacturer. Note that the unit does not support Roku sticks or similar RF streaming dongles and there is no voice control function. 🔌

Setup uses a code list and a few straightforward button presses to pair the remote with a device. The process requires finding the device code, holding the setup button until the LED lights, selecting the device type and entering the four digit code. If a code does not work the instructions recommend trying subsequent codes until the buttons respond. 📺

This remote is a practical spare or replacement. Buttons are clearly labelled for source switching, playback and basic menu navigation, making it a convenient choice for everyday TV viewing and media playback.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **Loutoc Universal TV Remote**
- Compatible brands: Samsung, LG, Sony, Hisense, TCL, RCA, Toshiba, Panasonic, Sharp, Philips, Haier, Hitachi, JVC
- Also compatible with: DVD players, Blu-ray players, soundbars, streaming media players, DVRs, VCRs, set top boxes
- Setup method: Code list and manual programming using SETUP and device buttons
- Package contents: 1 remote, 1 user manual, 1 code list, no batteries included

## Usage Recommendations

For the quickest result, place the remote close to the device when entering codes and ensure the LED indicator is visible while programming. If the first code entry does not produce a response test the next code on the list, repeating until functionality is achieved. The lack of voice control means that any voice-required functions on newer smart TVs will need to be accessed using the television’s original remote or app. 🔍

Consider keeping the printed code list and manual in a drawer near the TV for future use. The remote covers a broad span of legacy and contemporary devices so it can reduce the number of handsets in a household where several brands are used.
