Tropical Floral Upholstery Fabric 3 yards
Product description
This tropical floral upholstery fabric brings bold palm leaves and hibiscus blooms to reupholstery and outdoor projects, combining vibrant prints with practical performance. The 3-yard cut offers enough length for chairs, cushions or accent pieces while helping you refresh interiors and outdoor seating with a cohesive tropical theme.
Key Points
The cloth is a medium-weight, tightly woven material that balances durability with a soft hand for upholstery and cushions. It is described by the seller as 100% polyester, which contributes to stain resistance and easy maintenance. The pattern uses high-resolution printing for clear motifs and deep colours, making the leaf and flower details stand out even at close range. 🌿
Colour and finish suit verandas, conservatories or indoor rooms where a dark green base enhances natural tones. For craft and DIY projects this fabric can be used for aprons, bags, lamp shades and hammocks as well as traditional upholstery. The material is stated to be waterproof and resistant to fading after washing, which helps for items exposed to occasional damp or sunlight. ☀️

Usage Recommendations
For upholstery, allow extra fabric for pattern matching when covering multiple cushions or chair panels. When using outdoors, consider adding a protective backing or UV-stable liner for prolonged exposure, as printed fabrics may slowly lose vibrancy over many seasons according to the manufacturer. For sewing projects use a medium needle and standard polyester thread to avoid pulling the weave, and finish raw edges to reduce fraying. ✂️
The Best of This Model
The main advantages are the vibrant 3D-style print and the practical washability that simplifies maintenance for decorative items. The combination of vivid design and a medium-weight weave makes it versatile for both structured pieces like upholstery and softer items such as pillows. Note that while the fabric is described as waterproof, high-pressure water or prolonged immersion may require specialised waterproofing treatments depending on the intended use, so consider this when planning outdoor applications.
