Triton Showers Shower Hose 1.25 Metres – Gold, Anti-Kink, Universal Fit
Product description
What it is
The Triton Showers Shower Hose is a 1.25-metre hose finished in gold. It combines a robust stainless steel construction with a double interlock design to resist kinking, aiming to provide a reliable replacement hose for many shower setups.
Key features
This hose relies on universal fittings to fit a wide range of shower heads and outlets. The 1.25 m length offers a practical balance between reach and compact storage. The finish is gold, which may suit certain bathroom aesthetics and fixtures. The product carries a 1 year full parts and labour guarantee within the UK, giving a level of reassurance for domestic installation and use.
Who it’s for
If you’re replacing a worn or leaking shower hose and you want something straightforward that should fit most UK shower configurations, this option is designed to be a practical, no-fuss replacement. It’s aimed at household use where durability and a simple fit matter.
What stands out
On the page, the emphasis is on durability (double interlocked stainless steel) and anti-kink behaviour, which can mean less frustration during showers. The universal fittings reduce the need for additional adaptors in many setups.
Limitations and considerations
- The guarantee is UK-only, if you’re outside the UK, you might not be eligible for parts and labour support.
- The description notes universal fittings, but it’s wise to verify thread size and compatibility with your particular shower head and mixer valve before purchasing.
- Aesthetics: the gold finish is a design choice and may not suit every bathroom style.
How it compares to other approaches
If you prioritise a simple, mid-length replacement hose with anti-kink properties, this model sits in the practical end of the market. It may be more economical than premium braided hoses, while offering similar durability in day-to-day use. If you need a longer reach or a different finish, you might consider alternatives with varied lengths or finishes, but those options could require more careful compatibility checks.
What to look at before you buy
- Confirm the thread type your shower uses to ensure universal fittings will fit.
- Check your bathroom’s overall style to see if a gold finish complements other fixtures.
- Consider the replacement cycle you expect, a 1 year guarantee is helpful, but ensure you’re comfortable with the standard wear and tear of a shower hose.
- Ensure the UK-only guarantee aligns with where you plan to install it.
Practical use example
Imagine a busy family bathroom where a previous hose developed leaks near the connector. This 1.25 m hose would reach comfortably from the tap to the shower head without excessive slack, and the anti-kink feature should minimise tangling during daily showers.

Should you buy it?
Is it worth it? It may be less suited if you need a very specific finish, a longer length, or non-UK support.
