## Description

## What it is and why you might want it
The Tribit XSound Go (Upgraded) is a compact portable Bluetooth speaker aimed at everyday listening, including outdoors and wet environments. On paper, it’s built for people who want cord-free music that won’t immediately feel fragile—because it’s IPX7 waterproof, includes a built-in microphone, and uses a modern Bluetooth connection.

It also signals intent beyond “just background audio”. The base description claims crystal highs, crisp mids and rich bass, backed by dual 8W power drivers and an added DSP chip. If you care about clearer sound at higher volumes, that’s the angle here.

## Key takeaways
If you’re shopping for a small wireless speaker to move between rooms, take to the garden, or bring into the bathroom/shower routine, this one ticks a few practical boxes. Bluetooth 5.3 is listed, the range is claimed as up to 100ft (and the description notes earlier versions were 100ft with Bluetooth 5.0, while the updated version is said to reach 150ft), and you get wireless stereo pairing support.

That said, it’s still a portable speaker. It isn’t positioned as a room-filling hi-fi system, so expectations should stay realistic: you’ll get “impressive for the size” sound rather than something that replaces larger speakers.

## Where it stands out in daily use
The most compelling day-to-day features are the ones you notice when you’re living with the speaker, not reading the spec sheet.

- **Water resistance that matches the moments you actually take it to**: IPX7 waterproofing is specifically mentioned, which makes it a safer pick for pool days, beach lounging, and shower listening—where many smaller speakers would be a hassle to baby.
- **Hands-free calls on the go**: a built-in microphone means you can answer calls through the speaker when connected to your smartphone.
- **Type-C charging**: the upgraded design uses Type-C, which is convenient if your other devices already run on it.
- **Stereo pairing**: wireless stereo pairing is listed, so if you buy two compatible units, you can aim for wider separation than a single speaker.

A small “micro-experience” example: imagine you’re cooking, your phone is across the kitchen counter, and you want music without fiddling with cables. With Bluetooth pairing on your phone, you can start playback quickly, then answer a call using the speaker rather than juggling your phone with messy hands.

## Tech summary (what the description says)
From the information provided, you’re looking at a **16W** portable Bluetooth speaker, with:
- **Bluetooth connectivity**: Bluetooth 5.3 is listed.
- **Wireless range**: up to 100ft is stated in the product name, and the description also mentions an extended range claim of 150ft for the updated version.
- **Stereo pairing**: wireless stereo pairing support is included.
- **Battery life**: up to **24 hours** continuous play is claimed.
- **Controls and voice input**: press-and-hold of the multifunction button to access Siri and Google Now voice input is described.
- **Waterproofing**: IPX7 waterproof rating is highlighted.
- **Charging**: Type-C.
- **Compatibility note**: it says all XSound Go speakers compatible with the TRIBIT App are the latest versions.

A quick limitation to keep in mind: some of the range details appear slightly inconsistent at a glance (the name mentions 100ft, while the description references 150ft for the updated version). If range is a deciding factor for your space, it’s worth double-checking the specific listing/version you’re buying.

## Who it suits (and who should be cautious)
It makes sense if you want a portable, waterproof Bluetooth speaker for real-world use—outdoors, around the house, and in “messy environment” moments where you’d rather not worry about splash damage.

It’s also a solid pick if you care about getting more than tinny audio from a small speaker. The dual 8W drivers, DSP chip, and emphasis on sound tuning suggest the brand is aiming at a more balanced, less distorted experience even at higher volume.

You may want to skip it if:
- You expect a bigger, higher-end home audio soundstage. For pure fidelity, larger speaker systems will usually be the better route.
- You’re very sensitive to differences between updated/previous versions (especially given the range note and the TRIBIT App compatibility remark). If you want app features, you’ll need to be a bit careful about buying the latest version.

## Buying verdict
Worth considering if your priority is portability with **IPX7 waterproofing**, long claimed battery life for all-day listening, and Bluetooth connection that supports stereo pairing. It’s the kind of speaker that fits a lifestyle—garden days, showers, and kitchen listening—without turning every outing into a “take the expensive one or don’t risk it” decision.

It might not be the best match if you want absolute top-tier audio fidelity or if you need certainty on Bluetooth range for a specific layout, since the provided details show both 100ft and 150ft claims depending on version. If that uncertainty would annoy you, it could be smarter to choose a speaker where the key distance figures are more consistently stated.

## Mini FAQ
## Is it really waterproof?
The listing highlights **IPX7 waterproofing**, and positions it for pool parties, beach use, and even shower listening.

## Can I use it for calls?
Yes. A built-in microphone is mentioned, so you can answer calls via the speaker when connected to a smartphone.

## How long does the battery last?
The description claims up to **24 hours** of continuous long-lasting play.

## Does it support voice assistants?
The multifunction button can be pressed and held to access Siri and Google Now voice input.

## Does it work with wireless stereo pairing?
Wireless stereo pairing is listed. The practical upside is more stereo separation if you use a second compatible speaker.
