## Description

This tower extension lead brings organised power to busy desks and kitchens, combining multiple AC sockets with fast USB charging in a compact upright design. It helps reduce cable clutter while keeping laptops, mobiles and tablets powered for work or home use. If you need an all-in-one solution for several devices, this tower extension lead with surge protection offers a practical setup and safer charging.

## Key points

The tower stacks eight AC outlets in different directions and four USB ports to serve up to 12 devices at once, making it easier to arrange adapters without blocking adjacent sockets. **Tower Extension Lead 5M** includes smart IC charging which detects devices and adjusts output for efficient charging, with USB-C at up to 3.0A and USB-A ports at up to 2.4A each, total USB output 3.4A/17W. The unit is intended to tidy workspaces and reduce the need for multiple adaptors, though ten devices drawing high power simultaneously may approach the rated limit.

## Tech specs

- Name: **Tower Extension Lead 5M**
- Capacity: 3250W
- Connectivity: 8 AC outlets and 4 USB ports
- Cable length: 5M
- Safety: Surge protection, FCC and RoHS certified

## Where it shines

Independent control switches on each side let you switch groups of sockets on or off without unplugging devices, saving standby power and offering straightforward control. Wide spacing around outlets accommodates bulkier adaptors more easily. The 100% pure copper cable improves heat dissipation and conduction, which supports safer continuous use in everyday settings. Note that the total connected load must not exceed the rated 3250W according to the manufacturer.

## Best use cases

It makes sense if you regularly juggle laptops, chargers and peripherals at a single desk and want a neat central power hub. It suits shared spaces where several people need to charge devices at once or where plug orientation causes clashes. It may not be the best choice if you plan to connect high‑draw appliances like heaters or refrigerators, as those require a dedicated mains outlet.
