Benefits
The construction focuses on practicality rather than fashion, so you get visible durability without a high price tag. The chrome plating helps resist surface rust for longer life with regular cleaning, and the 16 point rowel provides a distinctive action that many riders find predictable. They give audible feedback when needed, which can assist communication with a horse in busy or windy environments. Ten in mind that heavy-handed use can transmit stronger signals, so consider them as a tool to enhance clarity rather than increase force.
How to use it
Simple to attach and adjust, these spurs work well for riders who prefer a traditional jingle bob design. It’s a good fit if you want a cost effective pair that performs for everyday riding and general schooling. If you prioritise a subtle, minimal contact, you may want to choose a smaller or smoother rowel instead.
Care & maintenance
Wipe the chrome plated band after rides to remove sweat and muck and dry thoroughly to avoid spotting. Occasionally oil the rowel axle to keep it turning freely and prevent stiffness. Store in a dry place to maintain the finish and the black jingle bobs' appearance.
