## Description

This compact personal breathalyser from TORVEX helps you check blood alcohol concentration quickly before driving or socialising, with a clear LCD readout and simple operation. It offers fast warm-up and testing routines, making it practical to carry to parties, gatherings or on trips where a quick sobriety check is useful.

## Key Points

The device powers on and warms up in around 10 seconds, then requires an even blow for 3 to 5 seconds to generate a result within roughly 3 seconds. A three-colour LED indicator shows low, caution and over-limit readings in green, yellow and red respectively, so results are easy to interpret at a glance. The unit also includes a voice prompt that guides the user through power and blowing actions in English and Japanese, which can be helpful in noisy environments or for first-time users. 🗣️

## Benefits

Accuracy is supported by a high-sensitivity semiconductor sensor, which responds quickly to alcohol on the breath and reduces waiting time for a reliable reading. The small form factor means it fits in a pocket or bag, so you can carry it to events or keep it for home use. The built-in battery level indicator prevents surprises by showing remaining power, and automatic shut-off after tests helps preserve battery life. For gatherings there are 20 mouthpieces included that can be cleaned and reused, offering a hygienic option when multiple people need to test. 🎉

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **TORVEX Breathalysers**
- Sensor type: - high-sensitivity semiconductor sensor
- Memory: - stores last 20 BAC measurements
- Mouthpieces: - 20 replaceable mouthpieces included
- Display: - professional digital LCD with three-colour LED indicator

## Usage Recommendations

For consistent readings, blow evenly and steadily for the full 3 to 5 seconds as indicated by the voice prompt and display. Allow the unit to complete its warm-up before testing, and avoid testing immediately after consuming alcohol, as residual mouth alcohol can lead to higher short-term readings. Consider that semiconductor sensors are suitable for personal and social use according to the manufacturer, but may offer different performance compared with professional-grade fuel cell devices in forensic or clinical settings. 🔍.
