## Description

## What it is
The TJ.MOREE 2 Tier CD Holder is a compact desktop storage rack designed to both store and display a small to medium CD collection. It blends a two-tier arrangement with a lower storage shelf for 30 standard CD cases and an upper display shelf that shows up to 26 CD covers horizontally. The result is a neat, accessible setup that keeps your discs organised while putting your covers on show.

## How it’s built
This unit uses robust materials—a carbon steel frame finished in matte black paired with vintage wood accents—to strike a balance between industrial strength and a touch of retro style. The construction is intended to be sturdy enough for regular use in home offices, living rooms, or entertainment spaces. The light yellow finish adds warmth and visual interest, making it a piece that can blend with both modern and vintage interiors.

## Space and practicality
Designed with space-saving in mind, each tier has a depth not exceeding 6.1 inches, leaving room for easy access. The gap between tiers is slightly higher than the CD height, which helps with easy insertion and removal. With overall dimensions of 6.1 inches wide by 12 inches long and 11.7 inches tall, it’s compact enough for a desk or shelf while still providing notable storage capacity.

## Where it fits best
The rack is optimised for desktop use, but its sturdy construction means it could adapt to small wardrobes, shelves, or entertainment areas. It’s well suited for music lovers who want a visible, organised display for a portion of their collection without committing to a larger, dedicated unit.

## Pros and things to think about
On the plus side, you get an organised display that doubles as a decorative piece, with a practical two-tier layout that separates storage from visibility. It’s easy to assemble thanks to clear instructions and included fittings. A potential limitation is that the upper display is designed for CD covers rather than storing the discs themselves, so you’ll still need a separate solution for the bulk of a growing collection.

## Who this is for
If you prioritise accessible access to a portion of your CDs and enjoy seeing the covers facing you, this stand offers a convenient compromise between storage and display. It’s a sensible option for a home office, living room, or study where space is at a premium and you want a touch of vintage charm.

## Who it isn’t ideal for
If you have a large CD library or need to store a lot of discs behind closed doors, this two-tier stand may feel limited. It’s not designed to replace a full cabinet or a large rack, and the upper display is best for viewing covers rather than deep storage.

## What to check before buying
- Ensure your CDs are standard size to match the 30/26 split.
- Consider the footprint on your desk or shelf to avoid overcrowding the area.
- Remember this unit uses a light yellow finish, consider how that colour will fit with your current decor.

## How it compares to other approaches
If you’re weighing display vs. storage, this model leans towards visual accessibility without turning into a bulky cabinet. For those who want true bulk storage, a larger shelf or cabinet would be more appropriate, for pure display of covers, wall-mounted or larger free-standing racks could be alternatives. This TJ.MOREE unit sits in the middle ground, offering a compact footprint with a clear aesthetic twist.

## Is it worth it?
You’ll like it if you want a compact, aesthetically pleasing way to keep a portion of your CD collection accessible and visible. It may not be the best choice if you need to hide the majority of your discs or require extensive capacity.

## Quick usage ideas
Place this on a home office desk to keep frequently accessed CDs within reach while keeping the rest in a larger storage box or cabinet. The open design also makes it easy to wipe down dust from displays and frames regularly.

## FAQ
- How many CDs can it hold? The lower tier holds up to 30 standard CD cases, while the upper tier displays up to 26 CD covers.
- What is the finish? Light yellow with a carbon steel frame and vintage wood accents.
- Is assembly difficult? It comes with clear instructions and all necessary hardware for straightforward setup.

## Final thoughts
For the right balance of display and storage in a compact footprint, this TJ.MOREE stand offers a practical, stylish solution for smaller spaces or for those who want to curate a visible portion of their collection.
