TESSAN Double Plug Extension Socket with USB-C 1A 🔌

This compact power extender brings together two mains sockets and multiple USB ports in a slim unit that fits most UK wall outlets. As a USB C charger plug adapter UK, it aims to reduce the number of separate chargers you carry by offering fast USB‑C charging alongside a USB‑A port and two AC outlets, making it useful for kitchens, study areas and travel when you need to power several devices at once.

Key Points

The design places sockets with a 5.2 cm gap between them, so larger plugs and adaptors are less likely to interfere with each other. This helps when you have chunky phone chargers or a kettle lead close by. 😊

There are two USB‑C ports rated at up to 3A each, plus one USB‑A port and two AC outlets, allowing up to five devices to be connected at the same time. The unit is small and lightweight, measuring 11.3 × 10.9 × 2.9 cm, so it slips easily into a bag or drawer without adding bulk. 🔌

Safety is addressed with a built‑in 13A fuse, which according to the manufacturer protects the plug and connected devices from common electrical faults. Consider that heavy duty appliances may still draw too much current for a multi‑port extender, and for such loads a dedicated socket is advisable.

Usage Recommendations

For everyday charging, plug in phones, tablets and wireless earphones simultaneously and leave larger items such as slow cookers or high‑power heaters to dedicated sockets. The T‑shaped plug layout reduces the chance of blocking adjacent sockets on the wall, which is handy in busy kitchens or study rooms. ⚡

When packing for travel, the small footprint makes this unit suitable for short trips where multiple devices need topping up overnight. In shared environments such as classrooms or co‑working spaces, place the extender at chest height or on a shelf to keep cables tidy and reduce the risk of accidental disconnection.
