## Description

## Introduction
A practical, stylish update for any sofa or bed, the Tennove Cushion Covers come as a pair of 50x50cm covers crafted from a Cotton Linen & Velvet blend. They’re designed to add a touch of tropical flair without overpowering existing decor, making them a sensible option for everyday living spaces.

## What it is and what problem it solves
These are decorative cushion covers, not inserts. They address two common buying dilemmas: refreshing a room without a full redecoration and protecting cushions from wear. The front features a modern tropical leaf pattern, giving a distinctive look while the back remains solid or unprinted, depending on the exact fabric finish. If you’re aiming for a calmer, cohesive style, these covers can be swapped in and out to suit seasons or mood without fuss.

## Material and feel
The combination of cotton linen and velvet offers a balance of breathability, softness and visual richness. The surface has a soft touch that’s comfortable to lean against, while the fabric’s natural composition gives a refined texture that reads as more premium than standard polyester.

## Design and colour notes
The tropical leaf motif adds a hint of colour and personality. In Khaki, the pattern tends to blend well with earthy palettes and other neutrals, making it a versatile option for living rooms, bedrooms or cosy reading nooks. It’s worth noting that the design is primarily on the front, the reverse side is not described as patterned, which matters if you plan to display the back as a feature.

## Practical features
A strong zipper enables easy insertion and removal of inserts, helping maintenance in daily use and washing. The manufacturer recommends machine washing cold and tumble drying on a low setting, with no bleach. The 50x50cm size is a common square cushion measurement, making it straightforward to source inserts. The pack contains two covers, and the pillow inserts themselves are not included.

## What stands out in use
If you prioritise a straightforward update to a sofa or bed with a touch of tropical style, these covers deliver a cohesive look with practical care. The dual-material fabric (cotton linen with velvet accents) aims to combine durability with a soft, tactile finish, which can feel more luxurious than plain cotton equivalents.

## Limitations and who it’s for
- If you want a fully printed back as part of the design, you’ll need to check whether the reverse side matches your expectations, the product description emphasises the front pattern only.
- The stated size allows for a typical 50x50cm insert, but small deviations of 1–2cm are possible, so measure yours before purchasing if exact fit is critical.
- Without inserts, the feel and drape of the cushion may differ, some shoppers prefer to pair with specific fillings for a plumper look.
- If you’re seeking bold, high-contrast tropical decor, the khaki tone may come across as more understated in certain lighting.

## Before you buy: what to check
- Confirm you’re buying the 2-pack of covers and not inserts.
- Verify your cushion insert size aligns with 50x50cm for a tidy appearance.
- Consider the washing practicality: cold wash and low tumble dry are standard, but ensure your machine can handle delicate fabrics.
- Think about how the front facing pattern will interact with your furniture’s colour and texture, a busy print can clash if the surrounding palette is already vibrant.

## How this compares to other approaches
If you’re weighing whether to buy covers or go for a full cushion set in a different texture, this option offers a balance: stylish front print with a softer, more premium fabric mix than pure cotton, without the maintenance demands of high-maintenance materials. It suits a mid-range approach—enough style to refresh a room, without the expense or commitment of new furniture or bespoke textiles.

## Everyday use and a practical example
Imagine curling up on a muted sofa after work, with the tropical leaf pattern peeking through the cushions. It brings a natural, relaxed vibe without overpowering the room. The zipper makes it easy to swap in fresh inserts for guests or a seasonal look, and the fabric feels pleasant to touch during a cosy evening.

## FAQ
- Do the covers come with inserts? No—the package is a set of 2 covers, inserts are not included.
- Are the patterns identical on both covers? The description highlights a front tropical leaf design, the back side’s appearance isn’t specified, so expect a straightforward back.
- How should I wash them? Machine wash cold separately, gentle cycle, do not bleach, tumble dry low.

## Is it worth it?
Worth considering if you want a lightweight, cost-effective room refresh with a tropical vibe and a practical fabric mix. It’s a sensible choice for updating couches or beds without heavy investment, provided you’re comfortable with the front-only pattern and the specified 50x50cm sizing.
