## Description

This steam iron delivers strong, fast ironing performance for busy households, combining high power and a large water tank to tackle creases on everyday clothes and heavier fabrics. With a 3000 W heater and a steam boost for stubborn wrinkles, it is suited for frequent use and longer sessions without constant refills.

## Key Points

The Tefal Ultimate Pure Steam iron comes with a powerful 3000 W rating and a continuous steam output of 55 g/min, plus a steam boost up to 240 g/min for intensive creasing. It features an extra-large 350 ml water tank to reduce interruptions during ironing and an anti-drip system that helps prevent water marks on garments. The appliance also includes an intelligent auto-off safety function that activates if left unattended for 8 minutes upright or 30 seconds when flat or on its side.

## Technical Specifications

- **Name: Tefal Ultimate Pure Steam FV9830**
- Power: 3000 W
- Continuous steam: 55 g/min
- Steam boost: 240 g/min
- Water tank capacity: 350 ml
- Soleplate: Durilium non-stick
- Safety: Auto-off (8 min upright, 30 sec flat)
- Additional care: Micro Calc Filter anti-scale technology

## Benefits

The Durilium non-stick soleplate is designed for smooth gliding over a wide range of fabrics, making ironing faster and less effortful. The combination of strong continuous steam and a high-power steam boost means creases are softened more readily, which can shorten the time spent on shirts, linen and heavier materials. The anti-scale Micro Calc Filter is intended to limit calcification according to the manufacturer, reducing maintenance and helping sustain steam performance over time. ⚡

## Usage Recommendations

Fill the 350 ml tank for extended ironing sessions and select the appropriate steam level for the fabric being treated, starting with lower settings for delicates. Activate the steam boost only when needed on tough creases to concentrate moisture and heat where it is most effective. Ventilate the room when using high steam output and empty the tank after prolonged storage to reduce the chance of deposits forming.

## Practical Notes

Consider that strong steam and high temperatures may not be suitable for certain delicate fibres and printed materials, so always check garment care labels first. The unit is designed to be repairable for up to 15 years after purchase, which may be useful for reducing long-term waste. 🔧 ☁️
